I hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing start to 2014. I hope you you have a wonderful and healthy 2014. Mine started with sunshine.

I also had a wonderful New Years Eve with [livejournal.com profile] untitledno8. We ccooked a Japanese dish called Sukiyaki and chilled on the couch and chatted.

Some of you might find the fact, that as I got home on tuesday the carpet in the house floor was ripped out, as hilarious as I do. Nevermind the fact that there was no warning or headup or any information. Our horror hotel dirt carpet is a thing of the past.

Had a wonderful evening yesterday with [livejournal.com profile] half_lit_world. Eating and talking. And talking and eating. Afterwards I ran into my neighbour Benno and we stood on the street for 20 minutes and chatted. I also made delicious avocado-soyjoghurt-lemon-cucumber creme with my new blender. Awesomenes. Also watched The Americans after. I shouldn't have, simply because it was way to late, but well I don't regret it.

Have finally booked train tickets to Amsterdam in may and YAY, [livejournal.com profile] lyxzen, [livejournal.com profile] elsmoka and I are going to Amasterdam and see the Game of Thrones exhibition.

I bought the blender when I was shopping shortly with my parents after work exactly a week ago. I took some pics, because the weather was lovely. I love that coffee filter thing on my iphone. Those are behind the cut. Together with the floor and two breakfast cereals.

After a moment of oh my god how cold is it I have no fitting jacket, I went shopping for coats yesterday. Oddly enough, I did not buy a coat but two pairs of pants and this absolutely fabulous and geeky Wonderwoman sweater. I loooove it!

Tonight a woke up with a sharp pain in my back. I think I might have a very moderate lumbago. I can hardly move. If work weren't so hectic and busy I would have stayed in bed. Thank god it's getting a bit better now.

[livejournal.com profile] legoline and I started our Modern Dance course last tuesday and I'm so glad we are doing it again after over 2 years. It was like coming home.

Also my livejournal flist is very quiet currently. What happened? Where is everyone and how are you?

I'm sorry I haven't really been here, but I have been busy as hell and hardly ever even home. I've spent most afternoons working on the project with [livejournal.com profile] eintx and [livejournal.com profile] legoline.

As always in may, I spent a wonderful weekend at GateCamp. [livejournal.com profile] stabbim and the others have outdone themselves again with a crazy misson concept, shrinking all the participants to microbes to heal Jack O'Neill from a disease. His armpit was very muddy ;)

This year, didn't take that many pictures but concentrated on the mission more, which was awesome. We made third place! You can find more details about the awesomeness here.

This weekend I went camping for a night in the Netherlands in the fabulous company of [livejournal.com profile] elsmoka. It was a very quiet and relaxing beach experience, in which I managed to relax more than I have in ages and just let go and think nothing.

New Game of Thrones teaser is out. Can it be april yet?

Friday [livejournal.com profile] elsmoka took [livejournal.com profile] lyxzen and her friend M , [livejournal.com profile] legoline and me to the tneues direct sale. It was fabulous and not just because they had tons of cheap awesome notebooks. I have been a hermit this month and it was nice to see the girls, even for a short time.

I tried my hand on knitting the weekend prior. And let's just say it is not a talent of mine. I was sloooowwww and the result was less than good.

The previous week, [livejournal.com profile] legoline, [livejournal.com profile] frogspace and I embarked on a great adventure. We had decided previously (years and years ago) to visit the castly in which they shoot that show Merlin. It's called Pierrefonds and it's in France. Anyways, due to us being lucky this once, they were actually filming th show on our designated date. I kid you not.

There are pics behind the cut. Please be aware that these might contain spoilers. As far as you can call it that from looking at the clothes ;) We saw everyone besides Colin. We missed him I'm afraid. the wether was awesome sunny and claudy and it worked so well with the castle. My pics aren't the best. My zoom didn't reach far enough and there seems to be something wrong with my camera.

As for the filming, ti was very interesting, everyone was really repectful towards the actors and the shooting process even the little kids were quiet when they yelled silence and I found it every fascinating how they tricked with the newer stuff in the castle and how little lighting they actually use for the shots.

Lookie!!!! I've been making icons and stuff. Fun stuff!! Pets her Eames icon. Icons, icons, icons. They look so different at my work computer though.

I think my creativity is back. I'm very surely working through my todo list still and it's really getting so much better!!!!

Just yesterday, I've finally finished the design for [livejournal.com profile] legoline's website. You can check it out at her journal here. The entry is locked though. So if you're not a member of her flist you won't be able to see it. I'm very happy with the result though. And I was so concentrated I didn't even watch TV or shows or anything. I was in the zone. I haven't been in the zone in a while.

The dear JJ Abrams has been making another movie. Similar to his Cloverfield, we do not know very much about the plot. But the trailer looks amazing. I'm very much reminded of ET for some reason. and Kyle Chandler is in it. A LOT!!! Anyways, the movie is called Super 8. Check out the trailer. Use trailer 2. That is the better one.

I'm giving inkheart another chance. I'm listening to the audio-book at work right now. The thing with audiobooks is you don't skip. I'm a skip reader. I tend to run through the pages when I'm bored. And the thing is inheart is that I feal the writer is really in love with her writing. It makes it all very pretentious to me. Just get it going, is what keep thinking.

Oh and by the way, I am eagerly awaiting Games of Thrones. And they have finally have a ferature On Khal Drogo, played by Stargate Atlantis' Jason Momoa. Check it out here. All the trailers as of yet look fantastic.

Also, my whole body hurts. I think I overdid it last night with my workout.
