I'm sorry I haven't really been here, but I have been busy as hell and hardly ever even home. I've spent most afternoons working on the project with [livejournal.com profile] eintx and [livejournal.com profile] legoline.

As always in may, I spent a wonderful weekend at GateCamp. [livejournal.com profile] stabbim and the others have outdone themselves again with a crazy misson concept, shrinking all the participants to microbes to heal Jack O'Neill from a disease. His armpit was very muddy ;)

This year, didn't take that many pictures but concentrated on the mission more, which was awesome. We made third place! You can find more details about the awesomeness here.

This weekend I went camping for a night in the Netherlands in the fabulous company of [livejournal.com profile] elsmoka. It was a very quiet and relaxing beach experience, in which I managed to relax more than I have in ages and just let go and think nothing.

GateCamp is already over and it was awesome. Very very relaxing. The weather was marvellous. It was great seeing everyone again. The missions were fun. Great tasks. Water showes ;) Lot's of great games. And a realyl funny 'local language' that caused lots of laughs and awesome fun.

Also we did marshmellows over the camp fire. And I love Camp fires. I took lots of photographs two and made a point to play with my settings. I used manual settings only this time. Which I have never done before. It was cool. I did a lot of campfire shots and shots of the sun being really low which alwys looks beautiful.

GateCamp was a lot of fun. We of Team blue ([livejournal.com profile] frogspace, [livejournal.com profile] bea80, [livejournal.com profile] stabbim) saved John Sheppard from blindness ;) Had a barbecue and chilli and a lot of fannish fun. Basically we were about 40 people in the woods. Seven teams (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, pink and white) trying to save Atlantis. The caterpillars were disgusting though.

A little more about it, with pics. )
