GateCamp 2011

GateCamp is already over and it was awesome. Very very relaxing. The weather was marvellous. It was great seeing everyone again. The missions were fun. Great tasks. Water showes ;) Lot's of great games. And a realyl funny 'local language' that caused lots of laughs and awesome fun.

Also we did marshmellows over the camp fire. And I love Camp fires. I took lots of photographs two and made a point to play with my settings. I used manual settings only this time. Which I have never done before. It was cool. I did a lot of campfire shots and shots of the sun being really low which alwys looks beautiful.

nd GateCamp ist wirklich ein bisschen Stargate-y. Es gibt halt ne Mission und GateTeams. IIst aber total lustig und cool. gatecamp.net findest du mehr info.

Fotografierst du eigentlich mit einer normalen Kompakt-DigiCam oder hast du eine Spiegelreflex?
Das klingt wirklich lustig! Ich bin für so Geek-Zeugs immer zu haben. Allerdings scheint es auch immer alles gleichzeitig stattzufinden.

Ich hab für diese Fotos ne Spiegelrefelx genommen. Canon Eos 40D.

Hab aber noch ne Minolte Spiegelreflex analog und ne Rollei und ne Holga. analoge Fotografie ist auch total cool.

Und nächstes Jahr ist das Camp leider zur gleichen Zeit wie die FedCon. Mist.

Allerdings scheint es auch immer alles gleichzeitig stattzufinden.

Da wir die Unterkunft in der Regel zwei Jahre im Voraus buchen, kollidieren wir terminlich leider ab und zu mit der FedCon. Das GateCamp wird auch 2013 wieder am Christi-Himmelfahrt-Wochenende stattfinden. Ist noch ein bißchen bis dahin, aber im Zweifelsfall schon 'mal vormerken. ;)

I would hang half of these up on my wall. They look so relaxing and peaceful and GORGEOUS.

I might ask you for the big versions of one or two to have them developed. :)

You know, i'm seriously considering this. I hardly ever have this while taking pics, thse.. omg.-I cannot believe this worked, or..it looks exactly like I wanted it to.

Woah, there's a ton of pictures! I love all the ones with fire on them. Excellent work, dear!

GateCamp sounds cool. I wish I had the time to go someday. Sounds more interesting than FedCon to me.
