  Well, I have a sore spot for Shepard and McKay/Keller fics which later turn into McShep. I love suffering John as long as he gets his man in the end. Rec me some if you know any.

Today feels odd. I finished the layout for a webpage about camping utilities which I think turned out quite interesting. Met Tina on the train shortly <3 and feel completely wacky today. I think I'm learning to be less tense about work and my respinisiblities and that it actually is a lot easier when I don't worry so much!

Anyways, charlidos made me very happy this morning by linking to this Jason Momoa interview.
Oh I love the Boys!!! He even calles it that. Surfing and vacation with Joe and living together when they film. I'm going to a happy place. It includes farting and toilet jokes.

This is my 2nd paintedspires prompt. I commited manip. I haven't manipped in 3 years, so please keep in mind that I went a little crazy while searching for images and applying arm hair. Most of the time making this was spent browsing the internet looking for Rockstar pictures.

I've finished my first paintedspires entry last night and here is the result. It's a poster for a would-be-story about the Assassin John Sheppard having to kill famous golfer Rodney McKay. Wether or not they get to know each other or what happens. I will leave that to you imagination.

The prompt was supposed to be John-centric, guns and golf. There are no spoilers.

My Own Spires Entry, Projects, To-Do List

My own Spires idea took a turn into a completely different direction than what I planned last night. Odd how that is, since I'm enjoying it quite a bit but it's so very different. Far more friendly and less technical then I had initially planned.

Also, since it's supposed to be John centric, do you think they'd mind me sneaking other characters in?

I'm amazingly awake considering the fact that I only slept for 4 hours. I got a large portion of my first Spires entry done as well as a lot of Tweaking on svmadelyn's Heroes project.

Art Recs

As you probably know paintedspires has started and the first entries have started flowing in. Here are a few I truly enjoyed.

• Detective Noir by leyna55 impressed me the most. The Amount of work and detail that went into this is stunning. It's been painted ith a graphic tablet it seems and well, just go look for yourself.


• The Electric Things Have Their Life Too by steammmpunk. And no, it's not a Terminator AU at least I think it's not. I also found this Bones SGAAU in her lj that I find quite stunning.


• Wonderful comic like artwork by astridv. It's got Todd and Ronon fighting side by side!


• Then there is Uncounted by aesc. I always have this notion about thinking and processes taking place inside of us when I look at her pieces. And the theme for me, fits this.


• Not Spired related is this Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Artwork by lambent. It was done for me as part of the Flash fiction. The prompt I gave was Tin Man.

The Ollian

I also watched a large portion of the Ollian vids again and have decided that you all should suffer with me. I'm hopeless ;) frogspace got my hopelessly readdicted to the German soap Opera "Verbotene Liebe." Or rather, the pairing Oliver/Christian.

It always took just one pairing ;) Its basically a coming out story, but I think for a soap, the language aside, it's wonderfully done. And really you should all watch it. People make it easy for you.

There are clips in chronological oder with and without subtitles on youtube. And there is already a wonderful community which helps you with where you need to start. Find out more here

I wonder when the point will come that I cannot watch Rising ever ever again. For legoline it's almost an injoke. She says noone's seen it more than me! Not that it matters much. But Monday night, I decided that rewatching Stargate Atlantis Season One is a really good idea and I plopped in the DVD into my laptop.

I lovelovelove this pilot so much! It's when I fell for John and to a degree, Rodney. It's when I decided that Stargate might not be that crappy after all. It was almost like coming home to an old lover. And it had Jinto and Stackhouse (what happened to that guy, mmm) and Craig and the chair and well..I just love the whole thing to bits.

That said, I was veeery sorta fannish this weekend and made a ToDo list for all my challenges and prompts and stuff. I'm participating in

• Painted Spires I've chose two prompts here and one in particular I really look forward to!
• Sarah Connor Chronicles Flash Fic and Art Challenge
• SGA Big Bang I'm not writing, bcause I'm really bad at it, but doing an artwork for one of the stories that gets done.

Also, I read some wonderful fic and got some recs for you to take a look at.

• First is a John and Ronon music vid called Red Sun, which is really the best music video I've seen in a long time. It's simply, not many effects in it, no boombast, but it's realyl awesomely cut and the scenes were well chosen and I love the music a lot. I don't want to say more because I think it might give to much away.
• The Mona Lisa Box is a Sarah Connor Chroniclas/Stargate Atlantis, McShep crossover which merges the two universes and has great characterization.
• a ficlet with cuteness overload and icecream!
• Books are hot: The John Sheppard Book Club
• Sleepless, which is Sleepless in Seattle Atlantis style with Great phone conversation and characterization.

Also, sophie0 as completely hooked me on Rome. God Rome, I feel like pulling out my hostory books. If you haven't seen it, it's really good and even though you know what is going to happen, it's really suspenseful. And it's got Mark Antony and Pullo. *grins*

We also watched Juno in the cinema ysterday and that was such a great movie. Go watch it if you can :)

I'm also doing a Sarah Connor Chronicles Lims community. If anyone has pointers or ideas for that I'd be most happy.

Waaaaazaaa!!! I am the dust bunny destroyer! They are all gone gone gone!!!!! Yes, I'm fine! I finally, after two weeks, decided it was a good idea to pull out the vacuum cleaner. Well actually, the decision was made before, but I kept shoving it off! And now, clean clean clean.

• I'm also considering using wordpress on ex-posed.com just so it's easier to update!
• Also, I got my mom hooked on Jericho! She just agreed to a ten-minute sneak-peek. Well. Three episodes! *cough*
• I read this absolutely brillient fic yesterday (McShep, naturally): Decreasing Radii by cathalin. It's long, it's angsty, and totally awesome!
• 40 amazing free fonts.
• A page curl in photoshop
• Terminator;: The Sarah Connor Chronicles have probabnly been picked up!!!
• Friday Nigh Lights got sort of picked up as well
• charlidos brings Jason and Joe and that picture is so gorgeous. And has possibly been taken by Jasons mom!
• Also, I've been waiting for ages for someone to create a music vid to The Klaxons: Atlanis to interzone and omg, this such a fast frantic song and the vid that was created omg that is just sad, because it totally isn't.

I so wish the days were longer. Or I didn't need sleep!!!!!! I have a half written "Why to watch Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" entry. Halfwritten ep reviews for Lost, Sarah Connor, the last SGA: Kindred II. Half done icon posts and plenty of other planned things.

However, I went to a birthday party, CD and vinyl-fair and a cafee and spent too much money and worked on this webpage project which is so much fun I almost forgot to enter my fs_lims icon.

And I WILL post them once they are done. Only in the case of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, it might be too late already.

Today, the last episode, a two hour finale will air and if the ratings aren't good enough, the show will be cancelled. And it's a really good show. It has a female protagonist that is strong and independent while still remaining sensual and female and both weak and strong in the rigth moments. It has a great mother/son relationship, that's emotionally true. And it's got the semi-antagonist who isn't a bad guy and doesn't pretend to not know something even though the evidence is *right there*. and the action actually progresses and isn't halted or stopped or resetted (how many times has Lex been hit on the head now?). And most importantly, except for T3 it has been true to the movies and is just exciting to watch.

So, go watch it! so that we can enjoy the show for longer and see what they have planned, because as I hear, they had two complete seasons planned beforehand which is such an awesome thing!

And if that doesn't sway you, watch it for ME! I can bribe with icons ;)

I'm watching season 2 of supernatural currently. I like like it way better than the first half. And omg..now it just made me weepy!!!

Yesterday, I spontaneously combusted over these (pic1, pic2) pics of John Sheppard in the ep Outcast (spoilery if you know the plot). I think he sort of looks like a Detektive in the fifties.

I watched the first two episodes of the Sarah Connor chronicles and really enjoyed them. ( just one comment about it )

Also my Peg 3 ticket arrived and I'm number 315 which means I missed the met a greet. which is a shame, but it cannot top last year anyways *g*.
