Some of you might find the fact, that as I got home on tuesday the carpet in the house floor was ripped out, as hilarious as I do. Nevermind the fact that there was no warning or headup or any information. Our horror hotel dirt carpet is a thing of the past.

Had a wonderful evening yesterday with half_lit_world. Eating and talking. And talking and eating. Afterwards I ran into my neighbour Benno and we stood on the street for 20 minutes and chatted. I also made delicious avocado-soyjoghurt-lemon-cucumber creme with my new blender. Awesomenes. Also watched The Americans after. I shouldn't have, simply because it was way to late, but well I don't regret it.

Have finally booked train tickets to Amsterdam in may and YAY, lyxzen, elsmoka and I are going to Amasterdam and see the Game of Thrones exhibition.

I bought the blender when I was shopping shortly with my parents after work exactly a week ago. I took some pics, because the weather was lovely. I love that coffee filter thing on my iphone. Those are behind the cut. Together with the floor and two breakfast cereals.

Finally finished my first 20inspirations entry. I've committed icons for the tv show Arrow. You can find them here. I quite enjoy that show for some reason.

I've done stuff, been places, been eaten by a procrastonatery whole in the shape of many many tv shows and pictures of Richard Armitage. Actually there is not much going on, or a lot, depending on the day you ask me. And there is something I wanted to talk about, but I've started writing that entry many times and cannot seem to put it into words.

So I was looking for a certain illustration as inspiration for a project. An illustration of Thom Yorke of Radiohead. I still haven't found the illustration, but I did notice something else rather amusing.

I'm back from my easter vacation with my parents. It was wonderful. We were very lucky with the weather and with traffic, did lots of hiking and had lots of tea and hot chocolate.

So for the recent years, we've been having a semi regular fandom dinner in Bochum in the Ruhrgebiet. It is where I met the wonderful legoline, for instance. In the past year or so we've haven't managed to meet as often because of work and rl issues. However we want to breathe new life into it.


So we have decided to create a livejournal community for it, so we can plan stuff and maybe entice people to come join us. We are open to all fandoms. Whatever you like. The next meet.up is at march 16th. You can find all information at the community.

Woooot. So ages ago, I got my grandmas old sewing machine and after ebing inpsired by legoline I've been wanting to try it out for ages. Thankfully my wonderful friend Kate said she'd show me the basics and alas, I commited sewage. And she said I didn't completely suck.

Mind you the biggest fear I had was that the machine might not work because it's from the 60ties. But my worries are unfounded. It is devine.I has bag. And I already ordered plenty of stuff online fpr my net sewing project.

This morning did not start well. I forgot to set my alarm last night and it was very lucky that I atually woke up on time not to be to late for work. It's even colder today than it was yesterday and I really regret not byuing a warm coat like I had originally planned. But it might be too late now.

In any case, untitledno8 and Greg introduced me to spotify a way back. I've been omplaining for months how I couldn't find new and good music and it annoyed me greatly. So I've tried the radio channels for alternative and indie music and found some music that I liked.

Seriously, I wish I could write like that.

This day can just be over now, please. Aside from the fact, that I have the most god aweful headache behind my eyes and a queasy stomach because of the damn antibiotics, all my trains were late this morning, I had two wait 40 minutes for a subway and it was so full, that a woman kept pressing her breasts in my face. And I cannot concentrate at all today.

On top of it all I went on tumblr for a short bit to get my mind off it and got completely and horribly spoiled for Miranda.

thank god tomorrowis the last day I have to take my antibiotics though.

So I've been sick for the last few days and staying at home feeling fate, with a massive headache and a throat that hurt like hell and since yesterday night I've been coughing my lungs out and my chest is starting to hurt like hell.

The walls at my apartmentbuilding are very thin and my neighbour Dirk appearently heard me cough and made me a glass pf freshly pressed oranges. How nice is that.

Let's see if we manage to see this through this time ;).

I've spent yesterday marathon cookie baking with my god daughter and have now returned in time for an episode of Merlin. The very last one will air later tonight. I'm sad and curious.

For the last two days, my chrome browser has been saying my lj contains malware. No other account had the warning, but I have found a solution for the problem. Chrome identifies the css proxy as malware even though it is not. This affects journals that have an external stylesheet as mind does. If you also have that problem, you can check this request.
