omg
right now..this very moment...I'm glad I didn't go to uni.
Because the way the snow is coming down, there is no chance I would have actually gotten back home!

Oh??
We only have tiny, cure flakes coming down here - and not that many of them either. I hope you didn't have your correction today?!

No Busses going right now is the problem. I dread tomorrow.

It's snowing so much that no busses are driving?? o.O Wow. (Where exactly are you anyway? *lol*)

Oooh, playing outside with sleighs would be lovely! But we just don't get "proper" winters anymore. And I don't have a sleigh...

It's the same here, we used to get the really nice winters with so much snow you could hardly get outside the door, you'd spend days building small snow houses and snowmen, go on a sleigh. Nowadays it just doesn't snow that much, or it does and then a couple of hours later it rains...so typical Denmark. All because of that dreaded global warming.

and then it all melts away :-)
I think it's gonna start raining soon.

Yeah, I remember the good old winter fun days as well. At least we can still enjoy watching some snow flakes falling to the ground, even though they disappear so quickly. Imagine we wouldn't see any snow at all anymore... :(

And I know it's some kind of stereotype, but I always assumed you still had proper winters in Denmark! Global warming is horrible.

It's been like that this year, with the snow flakes just falling and disappearing the minute they hit the ground. November this year was the warmest we've had in over a 100 years.

And it's not that much of a stereotype. It used to be like that in the winters, lots of snow - so much you couldn't go to school (that one I loved in particular). Now it just seems we have a lot longer autumn and spring months.

Well...I live on a hill... the train is way down. so I'm sorta cut off right now..from civilazation. And I realized i don't have any heat switched on. No wonder I'm cold.

yeah---I don't have one either..but one can use plasic bags...best the blue ones...the one with the thick material. *grins*

I feel like bilding a snowman.
[identity profile] kia-ora.livejournal.com on January 28th, 2004 01:05 pm (UTC)
I hope you've turned the heat on immediately! *lol* And that you made yourself some yummy tea. :)

It would be great to be able to have in the snow, wouldn't it?!
(But [livejournal.com profile] shruuf has no gloves! And we don't have enough snow. Just enough to complicate things...
