Yesterday evening, untitledno8 and me headed to the Savoy Theater to listen to Olafur. It's sort of classical indie music. He's a very previous dude from iceland. You just want to take him home and keep him safe. He's so shy. It's endearing.

I loved the projections a lot he did during the concert. Especially the ones with the bird and the mobile who fly free and the rain ripping down. It was awesome. It's really music for the soul.

As you might remember, it's concertweek in Elliland. And last night we went to see Linkin Park in the lanxsss arena in cologne. We being Rene and me, also Rene's mum, his girlfriend and his girlfriends friend.

The concert itself was great. I danced a lot, headbanged and since I knew the songs really well, there was a lot of sining and screaming involved. Also the show itself was great. I loved the sliding wall thingy. I have no idea how to xplain this properly. But it was good. They played a lot of classics and one new song that I liked in particular was one with lots of drums! I love drums. The only thing I didn't like too much was that the sound wasn't clear enough. Meaning the bass was so strong that you could hardly hear the singing.

The bad, was the drive to the location and back home. The horror. The Google maps plan made no sense as it always does in cologne and it was sheer luck that we even managed to get to the arena. There we were met by the worst traffic ever. Everyone wanted to get into the parking lots. There were no free spots! It was a nightmare. I spent a lot of the evening dreading to be towed from where we parked. Thwe drive back we got lost again and it rained. t least I got a spot when we got back home.

But all in all great evening and great fun! I feel every muscle. Especially in my neck. It might also have to do with the pilates sitting pillow I tried out from a collague. That thing makes sure you sit well!
