Olafur Arnalds in savoy theater

Yesterday evening,

untitledno8 and me headed to the Savoy Theater to listen to Olafur. It's sort of classical indie music. He's a very previous dude from iceland. You just want to take him home and keep him safe. He's so shy. It's endearing.

I loved the projections a lot he did during the concert. Especially the ones with the bird and the mobile who fly free and the rain ripping down. It was awesome. It's really music for the soul.

I added two vids to this post as well as photos I tookfrom the concert and the theater. You can see those behind the cut.

Ich bin auch sehr gespannt, ob/wie slashable die beiden im Film sein werden :D (In den Comics finde ich es ja nicht so, aber man weiß ja nie *g*)

Music from Iceland has this inherently ethereal quality to it. Have you seen Screaming Masterpiece? It's a documentary about the influence and evolution of Icelandic music through its culture and natural setting. Fabulousness right there.

I really like that first pic of the chairs. The dynamic tension is fabulous and the focus really draws that line out. Beautiful.
