Haven't posted on LJ since 2014 and haven't posted here ever. Imported my LJ stuff in 2013. Was hard to remember my password a couple of days ago when theemdash moved here last week. I come here when I comment on her DW and check my TL. Will still check LJ every now and then as well and comment on either place. Probably not start posting on either, though.

I first stopped posting and then stopped reading. Truth is even though I watch a lot off shows still, I'm just not that fannish. Also most people that were active have disappeared a long time ago.

What is TL?

How are you doing? What are you up to?

I am pretty much the same. I tried to check in every now and then with the couple of people who still posted, but sometimes it would be months between checks.

Lack of interest in fanish things is part of it. I am also quite stressed at the moment and don't feel like hanging on social media for ages after a long workday in front of the screen. Tumblr with the queue-technic and Twitter where no one notices if you are only there for a couple of minutes and don't really interact are more up my alley these days.

TL is time line. I think twitter ruined me for other social media. I do not friend you here, I follow you. ;)

I am doing so/so. Got a promotion at work and am now responsible for people. I am not made for that. Much better at taking orders and doing my own work than giving orders and overseeing someone elses. Plus, a gazillion seminars on all kinds of supervising themes. It is a bit stressy and less fun at the office.

Healthwise I had a few setbacks last year and currently I am fighting a case of periostitis (?? Knochenfellentzündung). Getting old is not fun! ;p

I haven't, but I think I'll have to to go in and rescue some comms. I'll probably then delete the LJ.

In Google chrome you can filter out elements via cms. it is a lot off work since you have to do it every time you reload a page, but at least you don't have to accept tje tos.

I'm not sure about the comments though. They might be gone forever.

As you know I've moved, but when it comes to deleting... I can't seem to bring myself to pull the trigger.

Right now I'm trying to save all the journals and communities that I can in case they get deleted for me at some point.

I have an icon journal I might still migrate here. Not sure how I will deal with that. But then, I think my dw is a copy of my lj anyways so nothing would be lost.

Somehow the space that my lj had in my heart is a lot smaller than it used to be. The idea of deleting it does not seem to absurd. I dunno. I'm just hopeeing two communities will come here as well.

In fact just did, as this whole clusterf** has prompted me to dust off my DW, too and finally make the move complete.
I tried two years ago or so but most people were still on LJ. Now that about 70% of my flist have moved I can finally do so, too!

I haven't oked the new tos. I think that is why it is not working. Oddly now it is quite lively here.

YES! That would be awesome!
I think a lot of people are rekindling their love for this kind of blogging style. Tumblr is lovely for gifs and such but the kind of fannish interactions that I prefer are auite impossible there. I find that I miss the heydays of LJ and hope we can have a bit of a revival here.
Im glad most people are feeling the same.
I found that images haven't been imported properly. But the TOS thing might be the reason.
