On day three, we went for a wonderful hike around the loch achnanderach, right where we lived. The woods there were amazing, almost like out of a fairy tale.
Later int he evening, we went to visit the town of Plockton to get some food and maybe see a castle. Took us a while because the path through the woods was closed and we had quite the journey to find it by car.
On wednesday we sa the Loch Ness and Inverness. The weather was so bad though we almost didn't see the Loch at all and were too late to properly the ruins properly either. However Inverness was very very nice.
Thursday we went to see A distillery on the Isle of Sky and then went for a drive. While ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png){kind=small}
stabbim and frogspace went for another hike, legoline and I relaxed at the sea.
Friday, more time on the Isle of Sky. Took the scenery route of Elgol, which was so foggy we couldn't see far. Also saw the castle of Clan Donald.
The drive back to edinburgh was quite nice. Also accidentally saw amazing ruins.
I have combined all the rest of the days. I figure it's easier this way. Hope you enjoy as much as I enjoyed my trip :)
That afternoon we went to see the wonderful city of edniburgh and I fell in love with it. I will definately have to go back. Also we fangirls went to see Tinker Tailer Soldier Spy!!! Go see it if you haven't yet ;)
