Actually he's not done with the hobbit. He signed a contract to do Sherlock and then got offered the Hobbit, so they decided to film the hobbit around his schedule! He started doing the hobbit (there is a video diary of it on youtube), then stopped and came back to England to do Sherlock and then will go back to do the Hobbit in NZ...

Oh dear, he won't have any holidays this summer... and neither will Steve Moffat since this is his break from Who!

I heard all this from my friend - and Benedict just finished Frankenstein so I guess their schedules worked well.... I can't wait for Sherlock but it's not till September or October I think :)

Well i would have been confused if he had been ready. And very true. But hose dudes love their craft, right? I'm sure they will love to sacrifice their summer vacation for us ;)
