Rome in pictures
As you may have heard, me and two other goergeous ladies, [livejournal.com profile] untitledno8 and T went to Rome last week for some culture (and other things). I'm too lazy to post details about everything we did see, however we walked a lot. Our Hotel was in the center, which was awesome. I wasn't so much in the mood to take pics this time, so I don't have that many that I personally like. But there are some sights and some impressions. Rome is VERY touristy and very packed. Oddly enough, everyone seemed to speak German. Even in the resaurants and in our hotel. Also I kept messing up italien and french. It was quite disconcerting. Anyways, it's a shame. I kept wishing that some of the historical sights were more intact. But it's so interesting how little has changed concerning how we built things. And how huge some of them were. I keep wondering what will be left of us in 2000 years time.

Also traffic in Rome in insane. Moreso than in Paris. Anyways, Rome is beautiful. We also spent a lot of time reading in various places.

Oooh, sadly we don't have so much time in Rome, but I am really looking forward to it and if my pics turn out even half as amazing as yours, I'll be happy!

Well 3 days is quite a lot. Maybe not do the Vatikan or something. And thank you!!! IT's not hard to take good pics in rome. Everything looks nice.

*lol* Me, as catholic not do the vatican? :)
At least I'd like to see St Peter. I have made my piece with probably not seeing the sistine chapel, as that is at the end of the vatican museums and even if you do not stop to see anything else 30-40 minutes from the entrance (according to our tour guide), but I do want to see St peter and the place in front of it.
Don't need the popes garden's or somessuch.

Rofl... well in that case you have no other choice! *grins*
We saw the whole museum..we where there the entire day.

But I liked the chapel a lot better than st. peter. personally. Less pomp.

And I had no idea you could go into the pope's garden ;)
