Roadtrip
So [livejournal.com profile] elsmoka and I made a tiny trp to Siegen last monday. Lot's of chatting in the car was had. We also listened to old records. For some reason I brought lots of Jamiroquai. And N.E.R.D.

It was a rather successful trip. I finally got socks. And a new pillow which I totally needed *cough* I'm glad I didn't visit more clothes stores. I forgot how much I love blazers. I also got this cute shirt.

Isn't it the best, It looks perfect with a blazer!

Tuesday, I visited my mum with my brother. She made us our favorite food and we chatted.
Yesterday [livejournal.com profile] untitledno8 and I cooked together and talked lots. Also fun. Tonight though, I think I need an evening just for myself. To relax and stuff. Still not sure if I want to see Feeder in Cologne. I need a break.

ps: I cannot concentrate on work today. I am so bored.

:D I'm doing great, thanks! I've turned into quite the health nut, although I still love baking... but I'm doing my best to resist temptation there *g* I'm on vacation right now and I'm doing lots of yoga and reading and playing video games, so I'm really relaxed and just... good. <3

That is good to hear. :)

I did start eating healther, too, but not in a nutty way. I think we talked about this Gemüseabo thingie I am doing? Still doing that, but that is about it. ;)

Still want to go to that vegan restaurant with you and Elli, though, next time I am visiting. It always sounds so yummy.

Also joined a gym for a year, though. My health insurance is paying two thirds of the costs, so why not? Not doing yoga, though. Doing a "Gerätezirkel" twice a week and a back stabilisation course thingie once a week.

Still don't really play videogames. I do own Lego Batman for the Wii and Assassins Creed for the PC, though. Might get into it any time now. Maybe. ;)

I want a vacation, too. But what with only having 20 vacation days a year and having to use quite a few (well, probably just two) of them on my brother's wedding (April the 1st) and the birth of my niece (well, she might be nice and come on a Friday evening, though I have put my money on June the 20th, so I am torn here :D) I have to save up some. Already lost four to "Behördengänge" and such. *shakes fist*

Look! I can still babble on for hours. ;)

Sattgrün is amazing! And I'm always happy about an excuse to go there.

The problem I tend to have with gyms is that after the first couple of weeks I stop going, because I can't bring myself to go outside and take the bus etc. So go you for doing it!
When I'm doing sports here, that works better. Once it's warmer outside, I want to go running again.

That sucks about your lack of vacation :/

Play Assassin's Creed! Assassin's Creed is my current obsession, next to comics and such. The first one is already not bad (the characters are <3), but Assassin's Creed 2 was what did me in. I just can't resist pretty men who banter with other pretty men. :p So no change there, either.

I am totally giving you guys an excuse to go there next time I am there. :D

I think I would have the same problem. But if I didn't go regularly during this year, my health insurance wouldn't pay their part and I would have to pay for the year in full, which I can't afford. So I have to go three times a week (am allowed to miss 25 times over the year, but since I don't know when I'll be sick or away later this year, I try not to miss any (already missed one due to a muscle edema thingie)).

I am still doing this "at least 50 kilometers biking per week" thing I started last year and will probably continue to do that once the gym membership runs out. I love my new bike so very much. :D

Yeah, but work is slow this week, so I got some reading done anyway. Just can#t play videogames and I do have to get dressed and more importantly get up in the mornings to get here.

I am afraid my PC wouldn't be any good for Assassins Creed 2. It just barely fullfilled the running criteria for the first version (minimum of CPU). But it will probably take ages until I am through and then I might need a new desktop anyway. ;)

I am all for pretty men who banter with other pretty men, too. Nothing changed there either. :D

Yay for Sattgrün! Apart from their amazing dinner buffet, they also have really delicious desserts. Like apple-cherry crumble. Oh my. <3

Hm, but that you have to go in order for your health insurance to pay for it actually isn't a bad incentive, I guess!

I really need to repair my bike. Biking *is a lot of fun!

My laptop can't play any games (well, hardly any), so I know the problem :/ But well, the first one is good as well (I LOVE Altair, the main character), if a little repetative.

I'm currently playing Dragon Age: Origins, which is a lot of fun. And there's some gay romance in it, if you want, so that makes it even better :)

Apple-cherry crumble sounds amazing!

And after making vegan cookies this Christmas and having that vegan muffin and all, I can't even say it all tastes like "Pfützendreck" (yeah, just watched the link you gave Elli *gg*).

Yes, it is a good thing. For me, because I actually go and I think the effects are better if you do go regularly and for the health insurance company because they know that I go and that it is not some kind of insurance fraud and they pay for nothing.

It eats some time out of my days, but since I don't watch that much tv anymore anyway, it is not that bad.

Never was the biggest video game player. I only ever played Smash Football and Mario Kart on the GameCube I got from a friend. And Paper Mario is so far the only game you have to go through levels and get to finish eventually that I actually finished.

I need to get Mario Kart Wii, I think now that I have a Wii. And Guitar Hero, so next time we do that band thingie, I won't ruin all your songs again. ;p

Well, remember that sometimes vegans eat soup made from roots! ;)

I just made the most incredible thing:
raw cupcakes with an avocado chocolate topping (http://veganitaet.blogsport.eu/2010/05/28/raw-cupcakes-rohkost-muffins-aus-bananen-und-leinsamen-mit-avocado-schoko-creme/). It was my first attempt at s raw dessert, and WOW. Seriously, that topping is incredible. I made cupcakes before, and the topping consisted of margarine, vegetable shortening and way too much sugar - and it was nowhere as delicious as this! Gah, I am so excited!

I don't watch any tv at all these days. I just - I don't have the time, and I'm not interested, so I read instead. Or play videogames *g*

I never used to play that much, either, but then I got the Wii and now my PS3. I only bought it because of the Batman game, but now I've played quite a few games and I'm surprised by how much I like it. And yes, you should get Guitar Hero :) It's just so much fun.
ext_33206: Batgirl - scooter[identity profile] roadrunner1896.livejournal.com on March 18th, 2011 01:26 pm (UTC)
And all I have at home are carots and celery. I wanted to put them in some broth and eat that. Now I feel like I have to buy meat, too. ;p

Oh, that sounds yummy. Doesn't look very yummy, though. ;)

Still, I emailed me the link and will include it to my link list.

I might get more into it once I play more, too. We will see. If I need game recs, I know whom to contact.

And yes, you should get Guitar Hero :) It's just so much fun.

I thought the second sentence was "you were that bad" first. ;p

I am poor, though and that stuff is expensive. I need to finish the games I already have first. Lego Batman! :D
[identity profile] untitledno8.livejournal.com on March 18th, 2011 01:31 pm (UTC)
Well, it looks different from what you're used to, but what do I care how it looks? My stomach certainly doesn't ;p (and wow, it's filling, too.. )

I'm trying to look more into raw food, actually, but I'm a bit intimidated still. But I'm going to attempt to make raw nut cheese later.

Lego Batman is brilliant. I <3 Lego Robin especially. And, well, Lego Nightwing!
ext_33206: supernatural - dean yum![identity profile] roadrunner1896.livejournal.com on March 18th, 2011 01:39 pm (UTC)
It actually looks pretty similar to the chocolate cupcakes my colleague's wife often makes for us which another colleague mocks as dog poop. ;)

He also mocks my weetabix breakfast as vomit, though. I still eat it. ;p

Hmmm, cheese.

Haha. I am not surprised you like Lego Nightwing. I guess I'll have a few more hours to invest in the game before I get there, though.
[identity profile] untitledno8.livejournal.com on March 18th, 2011 01:42 pm (UTC)
Well, that's the way chocolate frosting always looks, at least for me :p

I always have oatmeal for breakfast, which doesn't look much better than weetabix :p

Actually, you can buy him pretty soon - I think I did so after playing only a few "levels". And wow, that makes him sound like a prostitute. Aww, Dick.
ext_33206: Callum - Asher[identity profile] roadrunner1896.livejournal.com on March 18th, 2011 01:45 pm (UTC)
It is. Unless you kind of flatten it.

I am less an "the eye eats, too" kind of person anyway. Taste is most important. :D

Oh, you can buy characters? I didn't know this. Haven't played much. Might check this weekend if I can buy Nightwing.

LOL It does. But well, if the shoe fits. ;)
[identity profile] untitledno8.livejournal.com on March 18th, 2011 01:49 pm (UTC)
Yes, it is. I mean, it's nice if it looks nice, but taste certainly is more important.

And yes, you can do so at the Batcomputer in the Batcave. He shouldn't be that expensive, I think. I remember when I first played it I flipped through the menu and then saw NIGHTWING and before I could even think about it, I'd already spent the "money". Hee. I love him so <3
ext_33206: Batgirl - scooter[identity profile] roadrunner1896.livejournal.com on March 18th, 2011 01:54 pm (UTC)
I will check and see if I can do this already.

Even though I don't love him as much as you do. But I love his suit. Robin's suit is nice, too, though.
