I wonder when the point will come that I cannot watch Rising ever ever again. For

legoline it's almost an injoke. She says noone's seen it more than me! Not that it matters much. But Monday night, I decided that rewatching Stargate Atlantis Season One is a really good idea and I plopped in the DVD into my laptop.

I lovelovelove this pilot so much! It's when I fell for John and to a degree, Rodney. It's when I decided that Stargate might not be that crappy after all. It was almost like coming home to an old lover. And it had Jinto and Stackhouse (what happened to that guy, mmm) and Craig and the chair and well..I just love the whole thing to bits.

That said, I was veeery sorta fannish this weekend and made a ToDo list for all my challenges and prompts and stuff. I'm participating in

Painted Spires I've chose two prompts here and one in particular I really look forward to!
Sarah Connor Chronicles Flash Fic and Art Challenge
SGA Big Bang I'm not writing, bcause I'm really bad at it, but doing an artwork for one of the stories that gets done.

Also, I read some wonderful fic and got some recs for you to take a look at.

First is a John and Ronon music vid called Red Sun, which is really the best music video I've seen in a long time. It's simply, not many effects in it, no boombast, but it's realyl awesomely cut and the scenes were well chosen and I love the music a lot. I don't want to say more because I think it might give to much away.
The Mona Lisa Box is a Sarah Connor Chroniclas/Stargate Atlantis, McShep crossover which merges the two universes and has great characterization.

Sleepless, which is Sleepless in Seattle Atlantis style with Great phone conversation and characterization.

Also,

sophie0 as completely hooked me on Rome. God Rome, I feel like pulling out my hostory books. If you haven't seen it, it's really good and even though you know what is going to happen, it's really suspenseful. And it's got Mark Antony and Pullo. *grins*

We also watched Juno in the cinema ysterday and that was such a great movie. Go watch it if you can :)

I'm also doing a Sarah Connor Chronicles Lims community. If anyone has pointers or ideas for that I'd be most happy.

Yeah, I have a few things more even I cannot mention yet, sort of. I don't even know if I can ;) My main problem is lack of ideas right now. Once the idea is there, it will go rather well.

And you can make graphics quite well. You coul participate. It makes you practise too :)

And yes, I loved all the actors and characters simply bcause they weren't cardboard or ovely cliche.

Rome is awesome! Reminds me that I still need to watch the second season. I'm quite sure that was on my to do list, but I somehow forgot. ^^° And the John/Ronon vid is so...yes. \o/

I'm still in the first season, but we got Sophie the second for birthday so that will follow shortly. I'm so addicted to this show, I cannot stop watching!! So so very good. *sigh*

I want an AU were the Roman empire didn't crumble and see how it affects the Stargate Universe.

Ah, the power of teh Hair!!! *giggles* I saw this wonderful hairicon yesterday. I must find it again, because I have no idea where I saw it. Such good hair.

Junooooooooo. :) I really love the movie. As I said already on sophie's post, I think it was somewhat overhyped, but I still really love it and everyone in it was amazing. <3

I saw nothing of the hype. Just saw the trailer which I thought was cute except for some small cutting thing which was so redundant.

And yeah, I loved that that characters were sort of normal and not too ovr the top.

And I love Rising too! It's great fun to watch and rewatch, especially when we've had new canon and you can see how far the characters have come but how it all still fits together.

Yeah, let's just hope I manage to keep up *phew*

And right now I'm at childhoods end Karis is mooning over Sheppard. I keep forgetting how much I love this season!!!

Oooh, Childhood's End! :D Remember back when everyone kept writing Sheppard as suicidal (or so it seemed)? I always wanted to slap them around the face with Childhood's end and "it'd have to be really necessary". I loved that, and Sheppard's development over the first season, because by the end of the season he does arrive at a point where it's "really necessary". *loves*

Yeah? I missed tha part of fanfom because I started watching when season 2 aired, I think around Trinity.

I think it stems from the "He's fucked up" thing people have that you could partially see sometimes but it just doesn't make sense if you take in all of canon.

And I agree.

A lot of weird things went on in this fandom when it exploded - which was not so long before you joined. 2005 was a weird year that way. Suddenly everyone was into SGA! *g*

And yes on the not making sense if you don't just pick out isolated bits.
