Did Peter not absorb Nathans power?

I'm also very amused, that someone at GateCamp called me Elli Pirelli without knowing the whole story. Not the first time! *giggles* My colleguer at work did it too.

Did Peter not absorb Nathans power?

I was thinking the same thing at the end. Since Peter has Nathan's power, they might have parted once they'd reached a certain altitude. Nathan then gets away to a safe distance, Peter explodes, lovely EMP fries computers in Manhattan, Peter regenerates thanks to Claire's powers...
And they live happily ever after.
My theory.

eigentlich haben wir Peter nie gesehen, wenn er zwei Kräfte, die er absorbiert hat, gleichzeitig benutzt. Es ist ja nur einmal passiert, als er dann durchgedreht ist, also denke ich mal, dass er vielleicht nur immer eine Kraft benutzen kann. Davon mal abgesehen, dass er ja eh nicht die Kontrolle über die Ted Kräfte hat.

The whole Peter thing still annoys me somewhat, since he a) could have absorbed Nathan's power or b) have been shot and come back to life as soon as they'd get the bullet out. So... yeah..
I think that the reason he couldn't fly himself is that I don't know if he can use two powers at the same time at all, and since he couldn't control Ted's power and had to struggle to not blow up, so even if he normally can use two at once, he probably couldn't then. That still doesn't explain why everyone made a big deal of shooting him, though.
But I knew the Nathan sacrifice was coming, and I am strangely undisturbed by huge plotholes Heroes sometimes has... I wonder why that is... (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v161/Subtle_sarcasm/Zachary/Heroes12305.png)
