BSG 3x16 Maelstrom
You know, this is the first episode of BSG that I actually liked.
Let me preface this stating that Kara is my favorite character and she was really misused this season. I mean, aside from the fact that the whole triangle thing and the Anders thing totally blew, the dialogue suffered as well. I mean, maybe you can make one episode of sexual tension, but using it again and again just grew tiresome.
This is the first episode in some time that felt like BSG to me. Where the dialogue wasn't stilted and I didn't have the feeling I am watching a soap.
Also, no Cylon baseship with good classical music then I can never ever listen to again.
And yes, Karra's death blows and it was spoiled for ages and it still blows. and I do not believe for one second she is a Cylon. I believe it has something to do with the "between life and death" and "crossing over".
Also, that last Eddie Olmos scene was gripping, but where is Anders??
I read somewhere that this episode would change the direction of the show and to be honest. I cannot see it! Because the other people in the fleet have no idea why Kara did it. I just cannot see them drawing any conclusions.
Heroes Parasite
I love this show, I'm actually loving it more and more and getting closer to the characters opposite to just the tight-knit plot.
I thought it was quite telling, that even though we saw an unusual side of Peter last episode, with the taunting and everything, he's still got his head in the right place. It could easily had gone different. With both of them (Peter and Isaac) not admitting to their guilt, but at least Peter does see his part in it whereas Isaac is just shifting the blame elsewhere.
It's also quite fascinating, that a character you were meant to hate, becomes a character you don't want to miss. I'm talking about Bennett here. And his wife too. Also interesting that now roles are reversed! And she knows something he doesn't. The note thing rocked as well.
Also, hey Missy!!! I know you!!! You are Lexs' computer whizz kid!!!
Also, it makes me very happy that Nathan is actually playing Linderman.
The best thing. Claire choosing to go to Peter and that wonderful wonderful reveal about Mrs Petrelli. And the Haitian already being there :) She's known all along!!!
There totally needs to be a list about who is tied to whom in what way. Cos I'm getting confused!!

Second, I never ever disliked Mr Bennett, I was always in his corner so I'm really pleased that people are starting to realise he's not a bad guy.
Third, I think Kara is a cylon. I agree though since no one knows her motivations it's not going to change the direction of the show really. I've loved the last couple of BSG eps, because they were Chief and Helo centric and they're my fave characters but yes this ep felt fully like a 'proper' ep of BSG.

Well..in the very beginning Bennett seems like the big bad. Only he's not.
The Helo and chief centrec eps were ok, I think.. but there were some I found downright painful.

Her "death" (I really hope it's not a real one!)has been very very very shocking for me 'cause I love starbuck from the beginning and she is one of the best character on tv!In this season they make me dislike her sometimes but Maelstrom was great and that paint!sex....grrrrrrr.....leoben you are my fav cylon!!!!!!

I had no idea she'd die, I an always shocked about how many spoilers I still manage to avoid :D I do not believe she's dead but I think this makes it far less likely that she's a Cylon, too, since there would be no surprise element now. I think she either actually hit the eject-button and was scooped up by the Cylons or is in some form of in-between-existence.
As for heroes.... I know I had multiple Sylargasms, that made it kinda hard to concentrate on the rest of the plot :D :D
I REALLY like where they took Nathan in this one, though, he was amazing. And HIRO! I love them as a team! yay!

and I was majorly spoiled. Such a shame! And I think yeah... it would have worked with a slow arc.. but this sudden death thing and prophecy thing, being a cylon would be too easy.
