SGA Season 3

I cannot believe I'm this spoiled!! But anyways, Richard Dean Anderson appearantly will be in Atlantis.
And I'm not sure how I feel about this.

I love Jack and I love RDA.
Jack sort of has a history with the lost city and...
to me Atlantis will always be John's city and I don't want Jack's gene to be be stronger than John's, or Atlantis response to be special or for him to active something that maybe John cannot. I would seriously hate that.

*grumble*

WHOA! I had no idea.

I don't know how I feel about this. Wait, yes I do. Awesome!

I trust them not to mess it up. Um. Mostly. ;)

I think the news is just out. *g*
And I like the idea... I just need John to have a better gene than Jack cos I like Jack better.

*huggles*

And I was in Smallville fandom.... *g*

I agree.
I absolutely love RDA, but why take him to Atlantis?
He had no time to be on SG1 [because of his daughter etc, which I entirely understand], so how does he have time for Atlantis?
If Jack is back, then he should be on SG1. He should be with his old team. He should be with Sam.
It's sorta like saying that John and Elizabeth are incapable of holding authority, and they need to bring the big guns in.
I have not yet watched all of Season 2 yet, but I'm positive John didn't sent the kitchen on fire, so why's daddy coming to oversee?
And I am entirely signed into the wrong user account, so apologies.

There is a big difference between being on a two hour show than doing a whole season, so that doesn't other me. And I'm sure he can use the extra cash.

and I do think he will, at one point be with his old team. I'm not quite sure what his job is exactly... which is why I fear they might have sent him there because of the Ori situation and his gene... which I realyl don't like. but heck, I can only speculate!!!!

Are Sam and Jack dating anyways? And omg.. you have a sekrit user account!!! bwaaaaah *g*

I just want him to be with Sam on screen basically. I'm a sucker.
I hope he will. I just don't like the idea of Jack being someone I'm gonna get annoyed at cos he's stepping on John. And I will get annoyed, no matter how accidentally Jack asserts authority. I'm very protective of John now too.
I love love love them both, but I am now just freaking out at the possibility of hostility between them, or from me. I hope this is handled well, or I'll cry my little fangirl eyes out.
I don't think they're dating, but then I'm very confused at which was the last episode of SG1 I have seen. I only have British terrestrial, so I rely on others for the eps. I think I'm a season and a half behind on SG1!!! I definitely need to catch up :D
Yes, that's my super sekrit art account. EEK!

*g* I never was a SamJack shipper. I actually don't mind either way.

And I know what you mean. I can understand Jack relaying orders or something. Or some bigger thing being there with the trust.

But if he comes there because of somethign ancient needing his gene, that's gonna make me sad. and I DO trust the writers and I don't wanna panic you or something. I just think my vision of the show is somethign different than what the actual writers and producers have in mind.

and I'm confused about that too. what season are you at then?

I haven't even considered the gene! I guess, they haven't really played up on it in the past 2 seasons since they mentioned that John has the gene.

Hmm, it'd be interesting to see, coz I'd love to gauge Jack's reaction in his typical, "Huh?"

But I'd love to see him interact with the existing characters. :)

I'm a sucker for the gene thing. It's sorta what first sucked me into Atlantis. Well, John and his gene. Which is why I'm so anxious about these spoilers.

and it isn't really about Jack's reaction. For me, the strong Gene is John's thing...

And yeah, the interaction would be nice to see.

Well be strong...whoever you are ;)

a) I'm pretty sure that John's gene is stronger, or else they wouldn't have freaked out about it as much as they did in Rising - where Jack was present.

b) While we're on the topic of spoilers: I am pretty sure I heard that Sam (Amanda Tapping) was going to be on Atlantis next season as well. There was even talk of her becoming a regular. I don't know the current status of this (because she had another show pilot in the pipeline where she was supposed to play the lead, I don't know what came of that). Actually, having Sam as a regular on Atlantis (and her history with Rodney) bothers me far more than Jack's cameo appearance.

I would love to have Sam on Atlantis, actually, but I'm pretty sure they'll screw it up with her and Rodney. Rather bring Cadman back. :)

a: well true... but they also invented artificial gene therapy very fast and seriously, when was the last time John initialized somethign ancient?

b: I remember those. but AT didn't really want it to happen. Didn't she say her heart is with sg1?

and I'm not sure about her and Rodney.. I just wish he would stop throwing himself at her like that, ;)
