SGA: The Hive

I think, this is the most excited and emotionally affected I have been since watching Smallvilles Shattered. I cannot even believe I love this show so much.

I loved this episode. I really cannot be terribly coherent here. I love the fact, that unlike sumner, Sheppard was more or less resilient to the Wraith's mindgames. I loved that Rodney shows over and over again just how selfless he really is. And honestly, David Hewlett in that scene where he comes through the gate is all kinds of amazing :)

I loved that Sheppard tricked the Wraith to destroy each other. the only shame about it is that Rodney's recue attempt was totally unnessesary in the end. He wouldn't have needed to do that.

And that girl in the cell was kinda obvious. I caught on quick..which is unusual. I also loved the interaction between Sheppard and Ford as Ford goes through withdrawl.

That said, I absolutely love it that sheppard is the way he is. cos really, the clowns rocked and he is very unreadable in the end.

I wonder though why he picked him in the beginning. Because I felt it was tbecause they sensed his ATA gene. Can the Wraith do that? but in the end that wasn't the case. I'm not sure if I'm thrilled or really unhappy that questons about him never get answered. Like why was he the one in home, who was able to manipulate the artificial environment. Why couldn't the Wraith read him like Sumner. Why did he take the Mensa test but didn't join....

oh..and because I couldn't stop after that last set.....

I agree with everything you wrote, and I also wish we'd learn more about Sheppard... I also caught on real quick with the girl in the cell, and I'm glad Sheppard did too. There were so many hilarious scenes in that episode. I'm a bit disappointed as well that Rodney's rescue attempt was useless - it made his whole story kind of pointless (except for saving his own ass). I'm also a bit disappointed at the way he and Sheppard interacted after the all ordeal was over. I wasn't expecting big hugs and hot gay love right there but a tiny bit of emotion would have been welcome - especially considering the look of utter despair we got a bit earlier when Rodney was on the ship. Oh well, fanfic will take care of that for me.

And the icons, much love. Guh. And I don't think they're spoilery.

Exactly!!! Damn..I wanted to have a small manly hug..just a small one. It needn't have been this huge gesture of Smallvillian proportions. And I also wanted the resoultion of John finding out what Rodney did. So really, it is kinda evil.

I'm hoping for loads of fanfic. And thank youu....so glad you like the icons!!!
