Flist-Cut and SGA squeee

I feel like I killed a few kittens, really and flist-cutting hurts anytime. But I cannot catch up. I mentioned before I'm slowly cutting a bit.

Today it's another 20 people or what. Bascially people that either haven't posted in ages, have little in common or that have no posts at all. I don't like friending people who don't have posts. I cannot gauge who they are, so I'm not so happy about them reading my locked posts.

If anyone wants to be readded, just ask. I hope this lets me follow my flist a bit better. I just hate wondering how people are and mixing them up. It doesn't do anyone justice. I also added 3 people I think are really cool and make extremely pretty art :)


Also, have I mentioned how happy I am that half my flist is into stargate atlantis? Cos really? I*m getting a bit obsessed. It's been a long time since a character floored my like Tom Paris or Lex Luthor did. Yeah, John Sheppard, you withz your bed-head. You could play adult Harry Potter. With green contacts of course.

Also.. McShep fic recs are most welcome... long-ass, falling in love, angst filled first time..fic recs.. yeah. First fandom in ages that makes me wanna read fic. *gigglesmadly* The boys are so slashy!!!!!!!!

YAY recs. I'm having a hard time finding good SGA fics.. I red 2 or three I liked very much.

But with some other..they started out nice and then they got so gratitious. Like...lots of crying, or wird lines that ruin a whole fic... and seriously..it needs an archive like the ssa. this wraithbait thing with it's gazillion wips is totally aweful.

And yes... it was the character... that sold me intitially..and then the hotness :)

ship_recs has good Mcshep recs (all tagged). Usually, everything she recs is readable.

My personal absolute favorite ever is Intersections by Kaneko. It's AU (pre-Atlantis) and can't spoil you for anything. And it's loong.

If you like AU's, rageprufrock has written a few cool ones (some WIPs!), but I'm told not everyone likes them. I especially adore Hindsight.

auburnnothenna has written a few stories, too, in her typical crash-and-burn-everyone-dies style. Anything she writes rocks. But most of it will spoil you for the end of season one, and I don't know how much you've seen yet.
