Meet the new me!!!
aaaahhhh...guess who it is!!

Well, you know who, and with the frenzy I created on my lj you will probably think... god... this is the name she wanted?? WTF???

But seriously. My old name didn't reflect who I am anymore. It's what I used because this one was taken!! Or a similar one was taken.... or wait..not quite true. But it really doesn't matter. It's my RL nick. which is cool, because this way, it's forever and it's not fannish or tagged to a certain phase in my exsistance.

No I desperately need a new layout for my new me. However... portfolio first.

I've actually changed my opinion regarding my professional work. I might share it publicly! Simply because it's the only way to put yourself out there. I shouldn't be worried with other people stealing my ideas or something. Just not sure at this point if I realyl want to leave my address in my portfolio. But maybe as long as I don't put any pictures of myself in my lj and there is noone who thinks I'm good looking or not good-looking that is cool. Maybe.

Also, in regards to a new me. I'm taking better care of myself. Which means I'm dieting and I lost 7 kilos!! jay!!!!! 8 kilos more and I#m london with [livejournal.com profile] emmynoscar like. wheeee... I will fit in my size 38 dkny jeans!!! *wibble*

Oh and [livejournal.com profile] astrea should have arrived in Kansas last night!!! wooooot!!!

ETA: This will take some time getting used to, methinks.

i really like the new name! i rather like having a non-fannish lj name, too. makes it easier to move between different fandoms :)

i can understand about being hesitant about sharing your work online, but it's probably worth the risk--who knows who might see it.

That's exactly the thing... fandoms just aren't forever. and lil_lj is a childish name and really, I didn't like it anymore..it wasn't me.

And that's exactly what I thought. Most people think I
#m slightly insane anyways...so who cares! I told [livejournal.com profile] shruuf this weekend...that if you don't put yourself out there completely, you#re not selling yourself right. LJ, the fanart and everything is part of my personality..and I'm not ashamed of that.
