Happy Birthday!!!  
Isn't it lame that I'm writing this post. Anyways... todays Birthday boy is Michal Rosenbaum.
32 years old. Old man! hah.

The German SF magazine Space View is featuring an interview with our man. And it's got the lamest pics ever. I'm gonna post it anyways, mind you ;)

And also, in honor of the bsay boy, I'm reposting my first MR Collage/Blend whatever. Seems so long ago and it's just been a bit over a year.

Also..I had the worst nightmare friday night. I dreamt the SV season 4 premiere....my subcnsciousness built in spoilers and they all sang musicals. Gosh. It was so horrendous... and ti orphan children. And loads of Lana!

And the odd thing is---- I uploaded the thing to my own server instead of Photobucket and the qualioty is muh better. Bucket distorted it!

But the interview seems old news to me. It's nice, but well...we heard it before. And you speak German? Would save me the hassle of translating myself, since I'm so lazy.

oh god, the entire interview sounds so incredibly cheesy in german! and so clunky (for example, in reference to kk: sie ist einfach wunderschoen. bwah!). i bet it wasn't like that in english.

i'm not that good at translating either, but i guess i could give it a try if there's demand for it...?

It is...I almost didn't buy it cos of that. And cos the layout is so suckastic.

And if there is demand...sure...you can translate and I'll correct it ro something. If you want.

well, i hope you didn't spend too much on it :)

i can give the translation a whirl. thanks for the offer of looking it over. we need to make sure that it doesn't come out as cheesy in english as in german! i'm mostly concerned about that, not so much about the actual translation (german's my native language, and i live in the states).

yup, german is my native language, and i'm from germany, in fact. i live in the states now because i'm getting my phd here :)

since i'm rather busy myself, the translation might take a little while, but not too long, i promise.

hah, i hide it well ;). or have been well-assimilated. in case you're german (or german-speaking), too, i had no clue either.

i came here because the education you get here is a million times better than in germany, esp. for getting a phd (well, at least at the good schools). it's going really well :)

ah, see, you don't have a location listed in your userinfo so i didn't know if you were in germany or not.

my main research area is gender, sexuality and the media (TV, mostly, but also film and new media). i got an MA in anglistik/medienwissenschaften in germany first before i came over here.
