i read this post earlier today, and fell asleep afterwards, where i had a dream i was in a big graphic design class with loads of people from online and LJ (including you), only the teacher was my real actual graphic design teacher. 'twas very strange.

what was the tip?
[identity profile] elli.livejournal.com on June 28th, 2004 12:41 pm (UTC)
Awwww...this is so cute!!! You sudy graphic design? I didn't know that :)
And lomao!

And the tip has to do with "Curves". You can choose the lightest and darkest point in your image/any image if it is too dark. Then you can use Curves, and press the eyedropper tool for black and white (in Curves, right side) to the corresponding position and you get a great color.

hm, i'll have to try that. sounds interesting...

anyway, re: graphic design, my college course is actually psychology applied to IT, but there are a good few design courses scattered throughout the four years, and i had graphic design last year and multimedia design this year, from the same guy (from the dream)...

*g*

Well...is it a nice guy?
And you know that means if I ever suffer from computeristic depression, I'll come to you.
[identity profile] angryhamster.livejournal.com on June 28th, 2004 01:41 pm (UTC)
he's a git, actually, but i still like him quite a lot. he's a good teacher, he knows what he's doing, and he responds well to people fighting/justifying their style for better grades. :D

and yes, should your computer ever depress you, i am the person to whom you should go. :D

lomo..is it strange I like gits. And lol...a fair teacher is a good teacher. :)
[identity profile] angryhamster.livejournal.com on June 28th, 2004 02:05 pm (UTC)
he used to be a lot more gittish (ie telling people their work was kack and they were stupid-- granted, it was often true) but the year above ours gave out about him to the head of the department and he toned it down a little after that.

he likes me well enough and always gives me good marks, though, so i don't have any objection with him. :P

Eeek...he's like a Neumann clone! He went to the whole class and said this is shit, shit and shit..and that too.

everything that wasn't his idea sucked.

And lol. We have a teacher who is so fun to tease too :)
Give yours gummi bears. Always works.
