Halftired and well-fed, we went of to the dutch border. There ain't no border anymore, yo.
And found a parking place really quickly. In the middle of nowhere. Walking, physical excertion sucks.

In any case..... we arrived to hear the Sugababes....they weren't too stellar and we went over to Franz Ferdinand. They were amazing. Weird..but amazing. I love it when people enjoy what they are doing. And those guys were really in their element. To me..more than any other band. And they have this really awesome song.... ;-)

We almost would have bounced from stage to stage, but in the end....we'd hardly have seen anything cos of the masses of people. 66.000 people. yo. The girls took pity on my and we went to see the Black Eyed Peas. Nest Rap/HipHop ever. Next to NERD. They did breakdance and stuff. But they're all real gangstas of course.

Goldrfap really surprised me...after the first two medicore songs, they really increased the quality. Not that much Opera singing anymore. Their costumes were entirely on the weird side. But they were in a tent. And fuck was it loud.

And then...my personal highlight in a sense was NERD. Cos I think their a bit like Steely Dan. And I knew the lyrics. Much more fun then if you don't *g*.

Then we stood in the cold...it rained man...it rained...and it was so cold. Did I mention we'd worked our way upfront during NERD and the break. We saw Lenny up close. And he's so small. Tiny. Small. Fuck. I was expecting a manly man of mankind. Definately funky though. I love his music. The jamming... *g* He really worked the crowd and all that. At some point he came down from the podium and went on the security fence. I was a meter away from me. lol...could see his stubble and his eyes under the glasses he didn't take off. Some other people had his butt in the face. He covered his hidious haircut with a hat.

Another hour in the cold. Hour toes and arms ice....Lenny dragged it out...20 mins more...and finally

kia_ora and the two ladies from GB (Cath and Michelle), got their their money worth and MUSE appeared. Out of nowhere...smoke! Matt was probably dressed too. And Chris...woah.....married guy :(
Knew some of the lyrics too. The Hightlight though for me..definately was Matt in Dom's drumkit.
Chris jumped into the masses appearantly....with his bass! lol

Well..in any case....it was a great day...and loads of fun. Worse the paaaaain.
