SV Covenant, Forsaken; Alias; Harry Potter icons  
I've been playing and playing and playing all sunday.
I wanted to use tons more pics, but considering the upcoming month
and this monstrous workload, I'd decided to stop at the 34 icons...

Some might. But a lot of people actually don't.
I knwo a lot of stuff you see on icons first...has been there before...in the media, on posters..etc. I've seen it and I hate it if people go and start claiming a universal photoshop technique.

I don't like copying either.... but I don't mind it....I think it's flattering actually. It's like a shrine, a testament to your skill, that someone would go and deem your icon worth that. To besinpired by it. It's complete copying that pissed me off.

Yeah, thats what I mean, complete copying. I know that I've taken a few new brushes/techniques recently, and my icons have turned out very similar to other peoples, but I just hate complete copying. Who it really sucks for is the person who does it, because it kind of just makes them look stupid. Well, if you know that they copied it.

But I get what you're saying, and I agree.
