Leissure Time  
I've been a bad bad girl.

I made 30 Asylum icons...grrrr....tried something new. Claim them if you want one. I can also do different text if you want me to.

Now I gotta do grannys bday pressie...and more concept...and scanning pop Art images...*g*

Hmm I meant the border, and the rather milky look =)

As for the border, you explained to someone. Which I didn't quite get. I'd have taken a transparent base and the pic on a second layer (well actually I have a gazillion layers for every icon..), make the rectangle selection, invert selection and just cut it. Is that about the same or is your's actually easier? *wonders*

Well, the thing is, I cheated. I don't have transparency in my icons.
The border is white!

So in that case, if you want transparency, I'd do it in the same way you explained. You just have to cut each layer.

Or maybe you can save a selection. And paste the images into the selection. Don't think that#s much easier though.....

Oh you evil fiend, you tricked me! *giggles* Well I only looked at them on a white bg so it was an easy mistake. But yeah of course you'd have to cut each layer in my version, wouldn't quite help otherwise and overall it's not that difficult or complicated... :)
