Project help
Guys, I need some help with a project.

Say you got to interview your favorite musical artist, what would you ask?
What would you like to know about him or her?

What info would you like to know about their craft?

What would you like to know that is trivial?

Hope's not too late yet.

I'd ask how the writing process is like. Is he just getting an idea and sitting down or does he actually make time in his schedule for writing songs. And what comes first, the melody or the lyrics.

Then the typical questions I guess: What/who inspired him to become a musician. Which song he'd have liked to write that someone other did already. What are his influences in music. What is he listening to at the moment, if at all.

Those are some really really cool questions. I'm really liking this: Which song he'd have liked to write that someone other did already.

Thank you very much!!!

I'd ask where the inspiration comes from. Does it come visually or aurally? Do they get snatches of lyrics first or little bits of melody first?

If they are asked to write a song about $topic, is it hard to find the inspiration - where do they start with that?

What do they do before they perform? Do they listen to recordings of what they're about to do? Have a playlist (like a lot of athletes have a playlist to psyche themselves up)? Do they like complete silence?

For trivial stuff: favourite song when happy/sad/angry. Favourite song to sing, to play to perform.

Hope that helps, or gives you some ideas!
