Sherlock 2x03 - The Reichenbach Fall
This episode killed me. It's over 12 hours later and my heart is still beating. I mean wow? I didn't think any episode of anything could every destroy me like Smallville's Shattered.

This really hurt. To tear down his existence like that. It killed me. I'm glad though that john didn't believe it. Because him turning against Sherlock as well, I don't think I could have taken that.

I had a hard time breating for the last 15 minutes.

Still wondering how Sherlock faked that though. With Mollys help I'm guessing, but how. Is it the same way Irene faked hers?

Anyway, Benedict and Martin were fantastic.

And even though it made me feel a bit better to show Sherlock is alive, I think it would have been cooler to keep us guessing and create more suspense.

I think we're having the same reaction. It's been about 2 hours and I still can't come up with anything better than "OMFG!! My heart!!!"

Mind you, that's an improvement over *FLAIL!!!!!* *gibberish* *squeak*

Talk to me again in 12 hours ;) But yeah... I never thought it would move me like that. I mean..I enjoy Sherlock, but I as never completely gaga or fannish about it.

I'm kind of shocked.

Imagine if you've been fannish about it.... I'm just all flaily hands!!!

I mean, this was the fandom that got me writing again. It's the show that made me write over 17,000 words in FIVE DAYS, which was something I'd never done before. The last fic that was around that same length took me a YEAR to write!

So yeah, I totally heart this fandom to bits, and it now looks like I may be making a rather cheesy vid to illustrate/mock John's MANPAIN. But I do it out of love. :D

This pretty much sums up my reaction. It took me ages to calm down enough last night to sleep. And I've been thinking about it all day!

I'm wondering if the drug from the last episode will somehow be involved; so John sees what he expects to see (Sherlock dead in the street) not what he actually sees (someone else dead in the street, Moriarty?). I don't think that cyclist was an accident. But I don't know how he will have worked the rest. The theories should make for some great fic though - this pleases me :)

I'm still not quite calm. It's so weird for me.

And you know.. the drug thing is a smart idea. Johns vision might be changed because of it Because he does see Sherlock all bloody. Maybe it was really Moriarty who was down there and Molly faked the autopsy and stuff.

See, there I was feeling kind of smart and smug about the drug thing. Then I had a thought: that could explain what John saw, but that doesn't explain why the snipers/assassins/whatever then took their guns away. Sherlock didn't just have to fool John, he had to fool the assassins too. I'm sure Molly is involved somehow. And that there was a reason Sherlock wanted John to stay in that one spot but.... I've got nothing.

Can I have season 3 now please? Can I? Please?

I'm still not over this episode yet either.

Well, the sniper was very far away and Sherlock is on the roofm of the same buildingl. I don't think it negates your theory.

And I bet Molly signed the death certificate.

And yes please :) I'm not sure I like all this waiting that's ahead.
