So, I'm cropping tons of medicine bottles for a website to display the products and one of the the bottles is labeled L-Tryptophan. Almost like the meds Max has to use on Dark Angel. I find this cool. :D

Appearently is a diet thing you can use when you cannot sleep or have mood swings.

Hah. I have the perfect icon for this, but I deleted it. It said "Jensen Ackles has Alec!hair. Your argument is invalid." But I do have another fitting icon.

I loved Alec. I wish they'd done more with the character, though.

Yeah..I thin they even mentioned it on the show. It was just somethign their own body wasn't producing.

True for every human and many if not all animals (I havent checked) You have to eat it in the form of protein, since it's one of the 20 essential amino acids. Your body can't make it; it has to ingest it. Maybe the characters in the show needed extra, for the effects it has?

Actually in the show it was genetically engineered soldiers. They were missing it in the body. I think it was a mistake and not a failsafe though.
