Back from Scotland
I'm back guys. Came back yesterday afternoon. Scotland is really beautiful. I have taken over 2500 pictures. Seriously. I had intended to prepare fotos last night but fate would have it otherwise and I spent all evening at a meating for all the people in my house. It was nice, but I would have preferred to have some piece and quiet.

Anyways, a teaser ;)

And since I've been away for over a week, are there any news? How have you all been?

It is very slow for me in the office today. If I could take some of your work of your hands, I would. But I suck at design and you probably want to keep your customers. Though, letting me do the work, will certainly give you some freetime in the long run when you are unemployed. ;)

"Goliath" is the third book of Scott Westerfeld's "Leviathan" trilogy. It came out on the 20th and of course that is when I had to buy it. It is steampunkish young adult.

It also comes with very nice illustrations, of which you can see a few if you scroll down a bit here:

If you are into that kind of thing or don't know if you would be but are interested, I can highly reccomand it. Only halfway through "Goliath", but I am sure the second half will be just as entertaining a read as the rest of the series was so far. And it is an easy read, so even after a busy day you could read a chapter or two.

That is right. But if you had had N&S, we might have settled for a rewatch instead of watching something new. I AM SO BAD AT MAKING DECISIONS! ;)

Edit: Totally deleted the short summary I had for the series, because there is a better one on the website I linked to. Also, the audio books are read by Alan Cumming and you can listen to the first chapter

He is good at the Austrian and Scottish accent switch. So that would be even less effort than to read the book.

That doesn't look to bad. I've been reading a tseampunk novel where they simply overdid it. That wasn't too nice. Anyways, if I ever catch up on my reading, I will consider it ;) It sounds pretty good.

I don't think the steampunk is overdone here, but then again, I haven't read much steampunk to begin with. One needs to suspend the disbelief a bit, but I guess that is a given with steampunk books. Within the world stuff makes sense and most of it works as it did/would in our world, so that is ok. And I just love the two main characters. Plus, Westerfeld is a good writer. I really enjoyed the series and am about to check out his other work. :D
