Star Trek 12!!!!!!
They are starting to shoot Star Trek 12 in winter!! And JJ is directing!!!! I already did a little dance here to the amusement of my colleagues!!!!
Also the seasons seasons of True Blood and Torchwood have ended and it's time to write about it. The forth book was my favorite in the True Blood seriesbut many apects I loved left me cold here. The whole season was messy and chopped and I didn't care about most of the storylines at all. The faires were weird and gross, the witches were uninteresting, Eric/Sookie wasn't as appealing as it was in the books. I was disturbed by Jasons storyline in the fist book and I really disliked the witches. Beeeel as vampire King made me go WTF. But then considering the fact that he is hardly in the books after book 3, they had to give him somethign to do, right?
What I did like, oddly enough, was Jason with Jessica. Even though I really do ship her with Hoyt. I enjoyed that. Also the ending... Tara?? Jesus??? WTF? I really didn't care about Tara all that much even though she became more reasonable to me in the second half of the season.
Also Newlin the Vampire.. I like it. And those chains, I wonder was it Russel Edgington?
I had high hopes for Torchwood after I loved Children of the Earth so much and I looove Bill Pullman and Lauren Ambrose, so I figured I would love this too...but it was a mess. The character I liked the most, they killed of in the first few episodes. There were some apects that I liked. Like the basic premise wa really really cool and I loved the first conclusions that werre drawn, but they never realized their full potential and it went from exposition, to exposition to more exposition and I have no idea in restrospect what the highlights were. I still don't know what the purpose was of Bill Pullmans character. I would have liked something less fantastic as a resolution as well.
Anyways, fall TV is starting and I'm really excited for a few things. I really enjoyed the previews of Ringer that I saw and look foprward to watching that tonight. Also Parenthood has returned!!!! YAY
I cannot wait to see Joe Flanigan in the Fringe pilot. Joe flanigan on Fringe. I think I might die.
Between the fabulous promo shots and the pierrefonds visit, the promo pics and this fabulous photoshoot, I'm ready for the new season of Merlin.

Another yay for Ringer. I watched it when it premiered and safe to say I'm on board. Great plot, pretty men and oh yeah, SMG. I'm excited. :)

I... no. Just no. I hate 3D LOL
And man, 3D lensflare would cause so many people to be sick in the theatre lol

Btu as an artist, if I were a TV and movie writer, I'd find TV more complelling, because you can tell a story over a longer period and time and have real characters developement.
And yes... they ould be..and I would be ;)
