X-Men:Frist Class, White Collar, Game of Thrones

Do you guys know these days when surfing the flist is though? Itt's like I cannot make sense of anything. But then, I've been copy-pasting all morning, so maybe that plays a major part.

Anyways I finally saw X-Men.

I must admit I truly regret having been on lj this much the past few weeks, because I was way to hyped even when I was trying so hard not to be. I have no idea up to this point how I feel about the movie. I feel like they could have dne so much more. I'm not sure. That said, I'm a big James McAvoy fan, so I loved him and I though all the actors and characters were fun and I loved the cameo especially. I think the finale though was kind of anticlimatic. Like I said, no idea how I feel about the film.

Charles and Erik sort of suffered the Thor syndrom. There was just too little built up for me. Mind you, I loved them. But there should have been more of this.





White Collar
Oddly enough I really loved this episode even though I'm so apprehensive over this eason arc. I think it has to do with the fact that I loooove scavenger hunts. It was sort of Indiana Jones-ish in that respect. The overall arc with Neill and Mozzie seems out of character to me though. It seems a bit liek Neill is doing it because o a habit and not because he wants to.
also the new credits are really really really bad. And boring and slow...and bad.





Game of Thrones
Lot's of talk about this and I don't have much to say, except that the scene with Jon and Aemon is one of my favorites in the books and I loved it here. Also Kit's voice is amazing. also I really loved Shae.

I loved Wolverine's the best. Fantastic and fun.

I enjoyid it too.,.. but with all the buzz I think I was expecting a lot more.

Ah, I was lucky to avoid the buzz. I knew people liked it, but I stayed well away otherwise (though due to time, not choice).

Buzz is great, but it can ruin things when people actually go to watch it. :(

yeah. same here. I feel like XMen was quite entertaining, and I see where the shipper-explosion came from (though, to be fair the interviews with those two really are cute), but all the hype made me expect *so* much more. I still thought it was alright, mind, better than X3 definitely (though that's not hard, is it?). I dunno, maybe in time I'll like it more.

Bei X-Men bin ich froh, dass ich nichts von dem Hype mitbekommen habe. So habe ich einfach den Film genossen und ja, ich habe den Subtext zwischen Charles und Erik mitbekommen. Aber es waren auch so viele andere Kleinigkeiten, die mich schmunzeln ließen, dass es für mich ein schöner, runder Kinoabend war.

Und das ist cool. Ich fand halt dass viele der Dinge hätten tiefer behandelt werden müssen. Aber bei so nem Ensemble ist das natürlich immer schwierig.
