elsmoka and also to realproof.
elsmoka has been trying to get me to watch this show for over 4 months now. With posts and screencaps, she's been roping in her entire flist. In any case, I promised to watch it with her and finally, after several months, we checked out the first 3 episodes.
So do I like it? Yes and no. Well actually I love it, but only parts of it, or all of it? I'm not sure this makes sense to anyone.
It was this very odd viewing experience. It is really broad sense of humor and slapstick, which I usually don't like. But I laughed like a maniac anyways (askelsmoka). It is so oddly charming. The characters are great. But it's still all a cliche.
It's so weird and so hard to explain.
I have this huge emberassmentsquick which stems from me being very clumsy and often being elsehwere with my mind. It's my ADS. But this makes stuff like this hard to watch for me.
But then there is the romance. That is what I love the most. I love the romance. Gary is the perfect man. Everyone who watches will agree. And it's just...mannerisms. You knwo who sometimes people move in a certain way and it touches you? He has that.
My favorite scene is when they are on the couch together and she turns on some music and it's the Black Eyed Peas "My Humps".

They are precious.
What I think is sad, is that my anticipation of it, steming from various screencaps and stuff, made me believe they were actually a couple. Full time. I wish they are going to to that, because it would be nice to see a relationship like that work.
ETA: the dude who plays Gary is also on Merlin. If that can be an incentive to watch ;)
