Last night [livejournal.com profile] half_lit_world, [livejournal.com profile] untitledno8 and me went to dinner in the sattgrün.

The sattgrün is a vegan/vegetarian restaurant, with great food and a great atmosphere. You can choose from a buffet and it's the size of the plate that determines the price. It was extremely tasty. I had a small plate which was more then enough for me. The beetroot was especially fantastic. I will definately go there again.

Oh that sucks.. but it's true.. there are not a lot of options for vegetarians except cooking for themselves. It's a shame that not more restaurants don't offer veggie courses.

And I'm not a vegetarian per se. But I have reduced my meat intake, can you call it that, considerably.

Well, it really depends on where you go. There are some places where your options are really limited, but I... pretty much try to avoid going there. And at the end of the day you have to ask yourself what's more important - convenience or standing by your principles and doing what you think is right...

I forgot to say yesterday that I think it's really great you're eating less meat. If you need good recipes you know where to find me.
