Brainfry - Elli is a Laugenbrötchen

We've established I'm insane today. This morning I had a doctors appointment and had a minor oporation. I had local anesthesia and no painkillers. So I'm sitting at work. Rofl.. what am I doing here? Correcting webpages and bad spelling and being very insance. No painkillers dude!

How will I go till monday without a shower though. Will need to improvise.

I just had an intense "Lachflash" too. I think people are looking at my funny. I'm still giggling!

My client wrote "Frenchaise" instead of "Franchise"! HE's the client who is continuously telling me that he totally understand all I'm saying ALL THE TIME. Only he doesn't. It's so tough.

Also... I meant to post something senseless a few weeks back and even prepared a picture for it. One of the few German foods I cannot live without. Laugenbrötchen!!!! Best eaten with butter. I'm not even sure if there is an english word for it. It's similar to pretzles.

I fell in love with laugenbrotchen when we lived in Germany. Recently, our local Kroger has been selling a similar roll--not quite the same, of course, but a reasonable substitute.

Really? Well..I'm known for always using extra salt. I love it so!!!

And it was a minor thing. No hospital or anything. And I feel good. It's a slight sting and I kind of feel insane... overly chipper. I dunno.

I have to go back though. And have another operation at a a hospital. Maybe in November.

Laugenbrötchen are the best. We had tiny ones last weekend. They were called Laugenkonfekt and they were so soft and yummy with butter. Mmmmmm.

Did you get my sms? my seminar ends at 6:30 pm on saturday.

In Bayern sagen wir dazu "Breznsemmel". Weil eine Brezel = Brezn, und Brötchen = Semmel. Das Laugenbrötchen ist aus dem gleichen Teig wie eine Brezn, also: Breznsemmel.

Deine Bayrisch-für-Anfänger Stunde für heute. :D

Totally.. I do... I'm all about the french cheese!!!!

und ich hatte ne Zyste... schreibt man das so..sieht falsch aus. Aber naja... jetzt ist die Frage ob sich da wider Talg bildet und der Knuppel wiederkommt. Nächtste Woche kommt der Faden raus.

Und was das betrifft gehts mir gut.. sonst kann ichs echt nicht sagen :/

That does sound like you're a tiny bit insane, yes. I can't believe that you even went to work and all that without painkillers. But I hope all went well and that you don't have pain anymore.

The Laugenbrötchen look really good and yummy. I don't think I ever tried something like that, but I think I should one day ;)

Well... I figure the doc didn't stop me..and I'm a wimp usually so it shouldn't have been a problem. Maybe it was the sugar intake.

And you live in the netherlands right? It's not far :D
