So, I have no idea whether not I liked this movie. I thought it was extremely interesting. It raised a lot of questions, had very interesting and multi-layered characters.

I think I really loved the triangle realtionship with the two scientists and their creature baby. I think Sarah Polley did such a great job with the never wanting kids, mostly because of her upbringing and the maternal instincts that manifist towards that baby. And the fact that she can control it more because it is an experiment and therefor doesn't have "rights" but never quite realizing that the child has human traits that go further than cognitive function adn that her sometimes rebellious bahaviour is in fact puberty.

The morals that a raised are very interesting as well. I think the movie is very realistic and gritty and not fast paced at all. It's not some monster flick like Species but deals with other matters. In that sense it was really quite good.

At some point though you end up thinking..they aren#t really going to go there. And then they do. I think I admire that even though it was kind of disgusting in a non gory way.

ALso the ending was very Vincenzo. Btw.. David had more then one scene and was even in the very cool opening credits.

Yeah I heard that too..it's totally mismarketed I think.

I'm still not sure if I liked the movie or not. But I wasn#t bored and thought it was very interesting and well-acted.
