The day grows near...  
So I'm making progress with my apartment.

Tomorrow I will put the finishing touches to my apartment paint. I have packed 17 boxes thus far. I've finally got some dishes and chairs for the apartment and some essentials. Still missing is a shelf for all my books. Still trying to decide what to get. I might actually settle for Ikeas Billy or Besta. But there is also a beautiful shelf system at Otto. We will see how it all continues. Tonight I will figure out if I can get a cheaper van or if I have to pay full price. I'm really scared to drive it though. I'm only used to small vehicles. Next sunday I'm going to move.

Still have to decide which provider to use for internet and telephone.... any suggestions?

Unity Media triple play?
Not the easiest when trying to contact their helpdesk or trying to schedule a technician to come out. And we have to reboot the router every couple of weeks or so, but the triple play for 20 euros or what it is, is okay.
No call by call though with them allowed, should you be prone to international calls.

Surprisingly enough (ich bin allein auf weiter Flur, scheint mir), I'm very happy with the Telekom. Their service is fine and the price is okay, so I've no reason for complaints. 1&1, on the other hand, seems to be pretty unreliable, so I wouldn't take that one.

If you get a large-ish van and it's a windy day, try to get someone else who can drive it. The stupid things react to wind quite viciously, so if you've no experience with them it'd be better to just let someone else take the wheel.

Ich würde auch Telekom empfehlen. Bisschen teurer als die anderen, aber rasend schnell geschaltet und (bisher) NULL Probleme mit der Leitung. Und wenn mal was sein sollte, gibt's Störungsbehebung innerhalb von 24 Stunden. Hier in der Ecke (du bist ja nicht weit :D) haben sie auch VDSL, also richtig schön Tempo.

Sounds reasonalbe, but that's not a time I can make, sorry. ;_; I would have to leave at 8am and that doesn't work out when I have guests. You should start without me and I'll join later in the day. (Also, if there is still something that needs to be done after the move, I don't know about you but I have Monday off.)
