The snow is back and Elli is melting
I'm talking about myself in the third person. Yay. I'm sorry I've dropped of the face of the earth. Seems like I always say this. But things have been stressful. To say the least. I think I might be having a meltdown soon.
Let me start with a good news. Pending a signature, I now have an apartment. YAY. I've been anxiously waiting for the ok for a week and I'm still waiting for the Schufainformation.
However my entire plan of moving is totally down the drain because of my parents piss poor planning. Initially, we were supposed to move out at the beginning of april. My dad stated again and again that it would be possible, that he would make sure we'd have a toilette and shower and stuff and we'd have enough time to look for an apartment. Renovating the house would start in march.
Then it was saidf that renovating would start mit February. Because I had wanted to celebrate getting my own place I had started looking for an apartment as early as november with the wish to start renovating it mid fabruary and move in in march. Avoiding all contruction crews.
I had also planned to have fitting furniture (I don't have much now) by then. Most of the time delivering takes a while. Knowing the extent of the work my brother and I had already uncluttered the attic during christmas.
Long story short. Even though my own plannign still works (renovating, getting furniture), the architact and the plannign there is total crap. My mother jump started us this week. We had to move out all our stuff from the kitchen. The kitchen will be ripped out starting this weekend and I will be able to get my last shower on monday. I have packed about 10% of my stuff. I have not signed a lease yet. I have not done anything for my apartment other then get it. Because obviously buying furniture before that seemed senseless.
So now I'm pressed for time, probably moving into an apartment without getting that much done. Living with boxes, which I really wanted to avoid. I have to hope my friends are available to help me on such short notice and I have to hope that somehow I will get a few days off even though some of my team already have days off and I'm the one filling in for them. And I have special projects I have to get done. And people who always want stuff and demand stuff (aka my bro who does not get that I just don't want to drive him everywhere!!!!!).
At this point I have to move to Düsseldorf during Carnival season. Yay not. Anyways, this is why I'm quiet.

Heee..danke..Sophie hat es auch schon angeboten und ich werde bestimmt darauf zurückkommen. Mein Vormieter zieht am Sonntag aus. Ich hoffe dann dass ich das Wochenende drauf und vieleicht auch zwischendurch streichen kann. Und dann muss ich ja auch diverse Sachen anmelden (Mich selbst, Strom, Internet und Telefon... was brauche ich da noch?).
Und das Karnevalswochenende würde ich gerne den Umzug machen. Ohne Möbel wohl... also ohne viel Möbel denke ich.

Strom und was auch immer du zum heizen brauchst musst du anmelden. bzw musste ich, kommt drauf an, wie das bei dir im Mietvertrag ist.
Und hey, du hast bei mir gesehen - das geht auch alles ohne Möbel. alles ist machbar ;). Und streichen ginge auch, solang du nur Kisten mitten im Raum hast, etc.

Moving under that kind of pressure really sucks. The last thing anyone wants to do is have to move in somewhere whilst there is still work to be done on the place.

Für die zwei Wochen drück ich die Daumen, ich hatte im November 6 Tage ohne heißes Wasser und Heizung, da bin ich auch ausgewandert.
