Learned something new!!!!!  
So haven't checked my friendlist.
Went to the suckiest party ever last night. Complete waste of my time.

I slept very long today. This is exciting because it hasn't happened in over two months!

Anyways. I am working on something right now, three things actually that I wanna try to get done before the finals start. Which is in three weeks. Got distracted cos I had this Photoshoppy idea. I wanted an effect and I had this idwa on how to do it.
And guess what, it actually worked!

So here's a little totally senseless graphic. SV-related of course.
Might write a tutorial on this!

What is special in it that there'd be a tutorial about? It's pretty for sure, but I'm just curious.

lol..it's probably nothing new to you knowing you are a professional.

It's the glowing/blur thing. I just figured out how to do it and am really really excited!

Did you do a guassian blur and then fiddle with layer modes? That's how I usually do it. Not that I came up with that myself, I was taught that, so tutorial would be a good thing.

I did take a required photoshop class, but it was pretty introductory. But we didn't learn about how to make things soft focus-y and pretty. But yeah, I wish I could say that I was clever like you and I had learned how to do it on my own, but I had to ask someone else. Ah well. It was really frustrating me at the time.

Well...I had Photoshop class as well, but the stuff I learned there seems to have escaped my brain pathways.

And I didn't simply open photoshop and it was all there. It took me years to get here *g*

Oh yeah same. People always ask me if it's hard... and I say it's not, but it just takes practice. I still learn new things and it's been years since I first started using it on a regular basis.

Likewise. People always say they'll bever be able to do that.
But truth is, it just takes time.

I think you can never really be able to know every aspects of Photoshop. It's just such a rich and totally diverse programm.
That's what's so great about it.
