TSCC up to 2x21: Adam Raised a Cain
I wonder yet again why not more people are watching TSCC. Granted in between there were a few less engaging episodes, but the last 4 were so brilliant!

I love that this show is smart, but it's all very subtle and it takes a while until you get the big picture. At the beginning, you expect this straight storyline that doesn't make much of a fuss, but then so many little details have been thrown in that are only becoming important now, it's just way too cool. Like the worm. I do think that the worm that was planted in a previous episode is what John Henry now depicts as "his brother" for instance.

I also believe that Weaver is not just a straight bad guy like they made us believe in the beginning and I've been wondering if the Jesse and the sub storyline with the liquid Terminator and Weavers story are connected. I even keep wondering if that Terminator is Weaver. Her agenda is so unclear and sketchy. What if she's trying to find another way to win the war, or even if she wants to stop it? There is obviously a reason why she's been having Ellision teach John Henry about morals.

the fact that that Terminator went after Savanna also hints at that.

And about John Henry. I loved how they explained about dying and that he obviously is self-aware enough that he doesn't want to die. I think his relationship with Savanna is really intruiging and I just loved how he helped her.

I'm very sad about Derek dying, but I loved how they did it. Brutual, fast, with little fuss. That said, obviously I cannot wait for the finale on friday. It is on friday, right? I wonder how they will get out of that one.

Please please have there be a season three.

I agree, there were a fewlot of boring episodes in the middle of this season, but it's all rounding up and getting very interesting now. :D

Oooh, I like the idea that the liquid terminator on the sub was Weaver! Tying together two seeming random and significant plot points :D

Derek's death was perfect. One of my favourites deaths ever. I was honestly just thinking to myself "wow, these guys really are up against something virtually invincible. Like look at Derek walking around all alone, if he was found by the terminator he would be killed in the blink of an-- ...oh" :P

Yes exactly. I'm glad I stuck around!
And well, I figured they have been doing it and the sub plots were a bit to specific to just be about Jesse and the baby and that conflict with Cameron. There has to be more to it.

Yes about the death scene. some might now agree but I felt it was so strong. Especially considering lateron how visible it was that they, especially John were grieving for him and not trying to have it interfere with the mission.

I never saw Weaver as a bad guy. Ambiguous and creepy, yes, but not like Skynet at all.

I have always worked from the assumption that Weaver is explicitely not building Skynet but an alternate AI, one not set on destruction of humanity but co-existance. In my head Weaver is the mirror and anti-thesis to Jesse. Both are working in opposition to their iconic father figures/leaders. But while Jesse's aim is to draw John away from metal, Weaver is trying to bind John-Henry to flesh, so to speak.

IS IT FRIDAY YET?!

Well, I think the way she was in th beginning hinted that she might be skynet. I was just thinking the method was a different one. And yeah, she's so creepy and ambiguous.

And you are so much smarter than me :D
And soon!! omg!!!! Well..saturday for us, but YAY!!!!!!
