I wonder yet again why not more people are watching TSCC. Granted in between there were a few less engaging episodes, but the last 4 were so brilliant!
I love that this show is smart, but it's all very subtle and it takes a while until you get the big picture. At the beginning, you expect this straight storyline that doesn't make much of a fuss, but then so many little details have been thrown in that are only becoming important now, it's just way too cool. Like the worm. I do think that the worm that was planted in a previous episode is what John Henry now depicts as "his brother" for instance.
I also believe that Weaver is not just a straight bad guy like they made us believe in the beginning and I've been wondering if the Jesse and the sub storyline with the liquid Terminator and Weavers story are connected. I even keep wondering if that Terminator is Weaver. Her agenda is so unclear and sketchy. What if she's trying to find another way to win the war, or even if she wants to stop it? There is obviously a reason why she's been having Ellision teach John Henry about morals.
the fact that that Terminator went after Savanna also hints at that.
And about John Henry. I loved how they explained about dying and that he obviously is self-aware enough that he doesn't want to die. I think his relationship with Savanna is really intruiging and I just loved how he helped her.
I'm very sad about Derek dying, but I loved how they did it. Brutual, fast, with little fuss. That said, obviously I cannot wait for the finale on friday. It is on friday, right? I wonder how they will get out of that one.
Please please have there be a season three.
