I guess there is a reason people say "Never change a running system". I had this marvelous idea to change the fan in my computer to make it less noisy. I bought a new fan which I promptly failed to install correctly last monday. Figured out it was the wrong fan on wednesday bought a new one and installed it thursday which my brother promptly manged to damage yet again.

On top of that the new antivirus software I installed made the Windows Explorer unuseable so now I had to reinstall everything completely. I'm still not halfway through my software. I'm not even sure what I'm missing as of yet to be honest. But I'm gald to have the computer back in one piece and yet again much faster.


Yesterday I went brunching with my friend Peggy who I hadn't seen since march which is so cool since usually it feels to me the less you see each other the less you have to talk about because the details of all the things that happened disappear and somehow this really wasn't an issue at all.

Later legoline and I watched "Drei Nüsse für Aschenbrödel" aka "Three Nuts for Cinderella" which is a cute and sappy christmassy fairy tale with great scenery and music and men in tights shot in the show. In a fit of nostalgia I bought it yesterday. It's been showing in German television for years around Christmastime and is a very fond memory for me. Legoline had never seen it so it was about time!

Now I'm contemplating getting a permanent account because wouldn't it be cool, but also questioning the wisdom of this.

ps: do any of you remember what christmas cards I signed up for? I lost a lot of my e-Mail and I'm preparing my post but I have a limited number of cards and I want to reciprocate most definately.
