So this is a small selection of the almost 3000 pics I've taken. I'm kind of boggling at that number. But it was very cool, because I can see how I'm getting better at choosing the frame of what to photograph and of managing the settings. And Sophie was very patient with me. The pictures won't ever be able to convey what it actually looks like up there and how standing on a cliff and listening to the waves and the birds feels and sounds, but it is a nice reminder of how beautiful it was even when the weather wasn't always the best.
These are some favs.

The entrance to our place.

Birds in Pont Croix

This very cool antiquestore. I was strong and didn't buy anything though.

Some pics of our 5 hour+ hike at the Pointe du Raz.

I think this is my favorite. I cannot believe I cought those two ;)

More birds
One and a half days we spent in Etretat. Which was nice, but nature seemed a lot more tame and the whole area was too tourity for our taste.
It is really impressive though.

The 14th July fireworks. It was really chilly out and I wasn't dressed well.

Of course, it's made even prettier by your picture-taking skills, which rock. I also love the bird picture you like best, but I think my fav might be the picture of the seagull about to take off, feet still on the rock, wings spread out and in the air. What a cool pic.
You remind me I need to do something about my pics from Boston.

and I'm getting better and better. Practice makes perfect as they say. And I have 20 pics of the same seagull. I call it my möwdel. Möwe is the German word for seagull.
And yay Bosten pics!!!

No, but seriously, I love these. The one of the two birds is absolutely wonderful, but the grass ones are, too.

I'm done with the five I had to do. I still have 8 left, though - that's why I thought I wouldn't come to you after all and stay home tomorrow. I'd like to write at least two tomorrow night.

And I love the area, I have to spend some days in France again.

BTW, what aspect ratios are the photos in? Looks like 3:2, which is a bit unusual for digital camera. Hmm...
