I don't think he's married but I wouldn't know... I think he was just referring to Jane in a fond manner. Sometimes (I could be wrong but I've known people who do this) people refer to their partners as husband or wife if they've been together long enough and are close enough to marriage.

I think that's probably it. I'm sure he already thinks of her that way - and they're also having a baby (due in September, I think) and their actual wedding has been pushed back to February, 2008, last I read.
