Bond, James Bond
I will never ever again drive the A52 at 6 in the afternoon. My nerves cannot handle it.
In that respect, can anyone refer me to cool, good quality Casina Royale screencaps or promo pics? Because I need some icons :)

Las night, [livejournal.com profile] cerri44, [livejournal.com profile] frogspace, [livejournal.com profile] stabbim, [livejournal.com profile] legoline, [livejournal.com profile] kruemelnikku, a few others and myself, went to see the movie :)

I've always loved Bond. My Dad got us all the bond fever. And I first watched it as I was 4 years old. Me and Bond, we go way back ;) Anyways, I loved the movie. And you know why? Because it wasn't your typical Bond. Because it was much more real.

The typical Bond almost always has an evil plot to created by one bad guy, to rule the world. May that be through space canons, or flooding cilicon valley. In this case, there are several bad guys, who all have a different agenda. And the aim is not to rule the world. the reach is less high, and less prolific. Money. Money and nothing else.

The typical Bonds fight scenes were more stylisic. He never seemd to be doing that much and still win. This is why I loved the second sequence so much. The chase and the snake fight in beginning were so real and not just because of the brilliant camera angles which were so close. And so fast!

And I think Danial Craig rocked this. He might not be Bond visually, but he is in every other respect and he can act.

And OMG, they had Felix Leiter!!!

One of the highlights was Ludger Pistor of Balko..rofl. With the horrendous German accent. Playing a swiss guy. Believe me..it's much more fun if you're actually German.

ps: cannot wait for new Heroes and Stargate Atlantis. Anticipation=huge!!!

I've joined a few comms that have shiny caps and icons.

Casino Royale made me happy for the same reasons you mentioned. Ludger Pistor was awesome, and Daniel Craig and Judi Dench were fantastic, too. Wow. I also adored that Versper Lynd wasn't one of those superficial Bond girls that I can't stand; she's a character Bond falls in love with and best of all, she's equal to him.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot: I'm really looking forward to the BSG night you're organizing. If possible, please don't choose 30th and 31st of December. That'd be fantastic.

But which one..those one 100x100 movies were boring :( cap_it maybe.

I fogrot to mention Judi. But she is always awesome :) I saw her and Maggie smith in a play a few years back. She has this huge presence. I also agree about Vesper, although she still was a bit stereotypical for a woman.

And I will note the dates. Haven't thought about when yet.

Schau in meine userinfo. Keine Ahnung, wie sie alle heißen, sie haben entweder James Bond oder neuerdings auch Daniel Craig im Titel. Eine heißt glaube ich blondebond. ;)
