pfttt....  
So I'm here at work, working on this really awesome cool simplistic stylish layout and I hope that the client will love it because otherwise I might have to shoot him!!!!!!

Like the last one... who wanted weird moving machinery. urg.

Anyways, I spent all my weekend doing nothing!!!! And I got a new lj style (again;)) for grabs. Check out here.

Also watched more sG-1, Stargate the movie (why are is rah such a different parasite???) and more. And Football.

Also got this spanking new header for my currently favorite comedy. MY NAME IS EARL!!!!!! Ok, two headers. But who cares. I likes it a lot.

ps: Maximo Park on Thursday and Belrin from Friday to Saturday. Awesome!!!

Stargate aliens
Rah was the last of his kind in the movie and he actually merged himself into a human boy in some way in order to have a body that he could fix more easily.

When they made the series, they could let Rah be the last of his kind, so I think they just chucked that part of the mythos and came up with a much scarier idea of the parasites that could slip into one's nervous system and take over.

The change between the movies and the series is one reason it took me more than two seasons to develop any interest in SG-1. I SO adored the movie - it took me a long time to make the change.

I do however remember daniel sating Rah was a parasite. And he looked a bit big for that. As an alien.

and I loved the moie too.. a whole lot.
