First of all, I would have been much much much more shocked, if someone hadn't thoerized this on my lj before. And that said, I don#t remember who it was, but you are a genious.

I'm not sure how I feel overall. I enjoyed this episode so much while watching, but there are some things now that I think about it, that just don't sit so well with me.

First of all, that dream sequence. Either Veronica is herself in the dream sequence and surprised at what is happening there, or she really is someone else in that dream sequence and realizes the consequence of her decisions and Lilly's death later. But I don't think she should first be suprised about her parents being together and kissing and then tell Wallace that Highschool was a blast. I mean. Logan called her guilible. So that makes little sense to me. Especially since Veronica would be smart wether she is part of the 09ner clique or not.

Now to the Cassidy part. I loved the idea, even though I was very psyched when the season started that it might be a corporate thing. So actually Goodmen would have been cooler to me. Just way too obvious which I do understand. I liked it ebing beaver, the evidence was there. It made sense. It was well backed up. I just don't like the fact that he supposedly always *acted* around everyone. That makes little sense. I mean. He was this tortured woobie character. But he was never menacing. What I'm missing is the motivation. What IS the motivation? Are we supposed to believe he is just bad?

I loved Weevil being arrested at graduation. It was predictable, yes. But it was so the Lamb we know and love. He wouln't do it any other way.

I loved the fact that people cheerd for V at graduation. and I loved Vinnie and Mister C. So good. I loved the pony bit.

I didn't believe Keith was dead for one sec.

The elevator scene was creepy....

There is lots of stuff that remains unexplained. Like Why did V get back together with Duncan in the beginning.

OMG LoVe. He comes to her rescue. And so good. Except the end. He sorta rushes away after Keith shows up. And V goes..I love you soo much. Which I think must have been a kick in the butt for Logan. He told her he loved her last summer and she never returned the sentiment. So where is the progression? the talk? The getting back together part. Why did they not give us that?

At least Keith is more positive towards Logan right now.

And the big question. WTF is up with that ending????

well id say theyve tried to make a cliffhanger, liek they did in finale of S1 with the big question "who's at the door?". but here, it jsut doesnt seem so interestign to em ALTHOUGH it might be cause ppl have been speculating shes in it with duncan from the very beginning and stuff.

as for the dream sequence...DON'T YOU JUST LOVE IT THAT LOGAN/VERONICA IS THE REAL THING EVEN IN TEH ALTERNATE LIFE? somehow rob thomas tells us "it's meant to be". lol i'm way overthinking this but yeah. should we not see S3, this was teh ending i wanted. Love happy together and all that jazz.

oh and yeah, i would say cassidy was just a disturbed little boy who made bad choices and cared too much about what would others think IF they found out those things woody did to them. raping v he just wanted to prove himself, you know, that he's not gay :( *tear*
poor thing. and awwww at mac :( i also think that if we get S3 we will see how Logan/Veronica came back together :D yay!

I'm just confused about a spoiler that I did read about the next season which has me really really confused.

And yeah..I do like that the LoVe is in the alternative correlation of events. But I think the reason Logan actually falls for Veronica is her brains. Because of the way she helps him with her mum. He admires her. Depending on how you view the dream sequence, that should not be the case there.

That said... I've formed my own conclusion about it, sort of. Which is that V i sorta glad the events didn't happen that way, and that she can imagine turning out different and then seeing an extreme version of who she could have been.

And that is not the impression at all I got about beaver. From waht we see on the roof, I got the impression he enjoyed it. I'm not sure. Cos otherwise it doesn#t fit with the Mack thing. Did he care about her, did he not? If the sex wasn't the problem, then why did he not want it and why did he not get it up (on purpose?)

And the sad thing about LoVe getting back together is this,.... to create drama,m you have to create tension. My guess the getting back together that fast will have repurcussions. I sorta hoped they'd have a more gradual build-up.

Hmmm you make a really interesting observation about the dream. I didnt even realize she was lucid at the begining and then just became a character in her own dream towards the end. The only thing that makes sense to me is that she realized everything was a bit strange in the beginning but then just accepted it all. And I guess we just have to believe that without the experience of being shunned like she was in season 1, V would've turned out like just another cute, gullible 09er. I did like though that even in her dream she's with Logan over Duncan.
Still wrapping my head around it though.

Well, the dream was sorta supposed to show the journey. I think V herself created the dream to see how much she changed. Am sorta remphasize that. But I still think she should either have been lucid or not. not some in between thing.

And I actually don-#t agree about the Logan in the dream part. I'm gonna quote from above... *g*

I felt really cheated by the wham-bam-back-together-ma'am treatment they gave Veronica and Logan. Grrr.

Yes, me too! I wanted a gradual build up. I don#t want rob to break them up again right in the beginning to create tension.

so we agree 100%. I'm sad about Beave too. I liked Beaver. I think he was ishc a Woobie-ish character and had sooo much potential.

I think the whole "gullible" thing does not detract from Veronica's intelligence. Yes, I do honestly believe she would be smart whether part of the 09er clique or not, whether Lilly had died or not. But... I think she would have remained innocent and she would have trusted people more if Lilly hadn't died.

As for Cassidy/Beaver, I guess his motivation increased with each step he took. He was molested - which I'm sure is horrifying in its own sense, and you could tell he wanted so badly to have an erection with Mac - but he doesn't even understand his own mental blocks... The motivation to kill was there. He was ashamed throughout his whole life of his molestation, he'd established a life where he was pretty much normal, albeit constantly ridiculed by his older brother. But upon growing up and reaching adolescent years, testorone kicked in, he began to feel angry and he wanted revenge. Thus, it started out with emails to Woody Goodman... and, like the Casablancas he is, he wanted to make a profit while he exacted his revenge from his pain. But his anger increased and increased... and he set up safety nets (the bombs in the airplane, the car) just in case. As things unraveled for him, slowly, he tried to cover them up. I don't think he wanted to kill Curly, or anyone, but he felt it necessary. He'd been removed from the crowd since he was a part of the Sharks, and was consequently molested... so normalcy was key.

Am I making ANY sense? I've been trying to rationalize why he could kill so many people when I honestly believe he was a "good" (enough) young guy just supremely messed up.

And... I'm just waiting for season 3 and real TALK between Logan and Veronica. We haven't had that...

You are right. I wonder if ti is the way she acted it. It seemed so off. Like she wasn't really that smart. Which is sad.. cos the flashbacks didn't come off like that in the first season.

Your making sense, but still... I would have liked it explained more. I wonder if it was a case of not kowing how he feels, or not feeling all that much, or something in between. Or feeling too much maybe.
