SV 5x12 Reckoning

First of all, was that Peter Gabriel? I know it was... *love*

My main problem is that I'm not as emotionally attached to the show anymore as I used to be, so the events didn't move me as much as they used to.

I was glad that clark finally got his head out of his ass and told Lana, or rather showed.
My problem with it though is a) the asking for marriag thing. I mean seriously, who tells someone something like that and then asks them to marry him. huh?

It's like one of my sga fanfic pet peeves. *grumbles*

Also, there is Lana's reaction to the whole slot and flying and cave thing. why isn't she freaking out. Like..at all. It looks so fake. Like a fairy tale with a Knight and a castle in the snow. Lana is smiling like she won the lottery. Only last week she was all..omg...another ship landed with the meteors and Clark didn't say a thing. I would be pissed off!!!

And isn't Clark supposed to NOT be able to fly. Wasn't it Kal that flew and knew how?

I knew that Jon was gonna be senator and then bite the dust. Kinda lame. Although I'm glad he died and not Chloe.

By Jor'El's logic, shouldn't there be someone else dying? I mean, jon's life in exchange for Lanas. Clarks life in the pilot in exchange for who?

Lex kissing Lana, even drunk, was totally oot, imo. I cannt imagine him giving that much away even in a moment of weakness.

Also Lionel, huh? Where does he know from. Is Jor'El still in him? I'm confused with that storyline.

What I did like, were the causality effects. In the beginning, Lana keeps Lois from falling down the chair, later when the fortress never happens, Lois doesn't have anyone to rescue her. Also, there is Jon stopping at the Lana crash on his way to the meeting with Lionel.

Then there are TW and AOT who were so good. Really.. MR was his gorgeous self.

and the funeral was beautifula and pretty.

It's not even that... I'mnot sure...I still enjoy it..put only to the point while watching.. it doesn't make me think after I watched it..it doesn't excite me that much.. makes me jump and dance.. Inspires me. Ok, sometimes it sitll inspires me...

I know what you mean though.

and yeah, the pacing was weird.

Did he fly with the nuclear missil thing? I don't remember. My s4 memory is scetchy. I spent most of the time zapping.

I guess my main issue is actually... I knew two spoilers... the clark aks lana to marry thing (from the pic) and the someone dies thing. And that was it.

So in my mind, I thought what would happen is, Lana says no, because of all the lies and the you killed my parents and everything she found out this year... But then she is friends with Lex but still cares about Clark and that could create a very cool conflict for all three characters.

The fact that they went right back to the status quo to me, is very disappointing. cos really, we had this way back in season1.
