TV Shows 2005 :)
I'm watching loads of shows and my own laziness keeps me from reviewing them...

For instance, I've yet to comment on the last Veronica Mars and the last Smallville. Wait... I'm not sure I've reviewed the Smallville S5 Pilot even.....

So I'm gonna do a little joint post...

Smallville:

The thing for me about thse two episodes, or rather my problem(s) with it lie with Season 4. See, I thought Lex had a weird, really weird personality change in the last S4 episode. Suddenly he is way more mad, mad as in crazy, way more evil..etc. And sadly, I cannot see the reason for it except lazy writing. Which in turn, pisses me off.

I love my Lex, I love him as badass too. But I don't like not getting an explanation. I'm a sucker for continuety and to have it kicked like that makes me sad. Like for instance...where the fuck is Jason in all that debris. I loved Clark finally telling Chloe and I loved Allison Mack in both eps.

The Kryptonians were lame and they got rid of them far too soon. Besides....still not much of an explanation about how they know that the sun affects them..they aren't supposed to know that! I'm gonna make some enemies saying this, but I really don't mind the clana that much right now. I will have a problem with it as soon as Clark goes back to lying his ass off. But this lovy dovy stuff. I was so coming... really... the hints have big neon signs!! Fact is, Lana isn't really that important and in the end it is all about Clark and Lex and I will hang on to that.

As long as it isn't boring as shite and nothing happens I don't mind as long as I get my Lex fix. Which is weird cos as I mentioned before... Lex freaked me out big time..especially in that confrontation with Clark in the broken down Kent home. That was scary. I thought we had this conversation a million times... Clark..don't you trust me..tell me the truth...etc.... and clark always lies and really I think after Shattered and asylum that was when he should have told him..or rather..it was his last chance..with all the bad things that happened between them.. I can understand from Clarks pov..that telling Lex the truth is a really bad idea. Mind you.. Clark should have been way less an asshole then he was in the scene.

Mortal brought different issues for me. The status quo changed. Lex is now a little more evil than before. He does more morally questonable things... the thing is that his motives changed. But even if he changed. Which is in no way his fault, Clark has no right to invade his space and punch him. 3 times. Ok, Lex saves himself from the last punch by hitting back, but honestly....

The way he grinned after that sickened me simply because even though he proved Lex's theory wrong, Lex is still right. It isns't proof. It is a sham,..it is, i'm missing words here but really. I realyl want S1 Clark back..he was far closer to being Superman than any other Clark.

Veronica Mars:

I enjoyed the second ep also...not as much as the first maybe, but quite a lot. The dead body in the end was an awesome twist and Duncan and Veronica are not going to make it... that makes me happy. But really, i'm intruiged and I wonder where this is all going.

Wallace solving his own mystery rocked.

And here is a little Veronica Mars collage. I played with a texture I just made... I dunno.... it's not spectecular..but I had fun.

Happy belated birthday [livejournal.com profile] astrea9562 and [livejournal.com profile] evilsushi. I hope you had a great time!!

Also, [livejournal.com profile] elsmoka hooked me on House M.D. Bad girl... I love it. Seriously..my three favorite shows are these.

I also watch Prison Break, Gilmore Girls, Lost, Housewives, Arrested Developement cracks me up big time and I love Kitchen Confidental and Supernatural. The OC is extremely bland this season and I stopped watching Alias.

Clark has no right to invade his space and punch him. 3 times.

I've totally gotta disagree with this. Lex put Clark's family and Lana in danger. He put practically everyone Clark loves in danger, risking their lives to try and 'test' Clark. I think Clark was well within his rights to punch him.

I'm not saying Clark hasn't been in idiot in the past - because hell yeah! He sure has *eg*. But in this? I felt that Clark was entirely justified.

Actually, there is no proof that Lex intentionally set those three mutants free to check if Clark really is an alien.

All we do know is that he was in Belle Reve at the same time and that he checked the video feed. It his likely that he did amipulate it..but not proven...

Second, even if Lex did this, it doesn't justify punching Lex...several times.... it doesn't. In any confrontation..you talk first, then you punch.
