Wannabe Rockstar groupie :)
So, a lot of fun to be had when [livejournal.com profile] shruuf drags [livejournal.com profile] kia_ora and me to gigs we know nothing about.

They are called Chikinki and are from Bristol. And they had a gig in my hometown. Well, near where I live. In the smallest location I have ever been to. Teeny. anyways, Kate as always great taste and the 5 boys didn't disappoint. I remember we talked about daring to speak to them afterwards since it was such a small venue. We decided, being too shy, it would never ever happen.

And after the gig, that could have been the end of it all. We had some beer and coke and sat in the room, with the most aweful German punk music playing after the band....

Wir sind Wir..
Wir sind Beer...
Wir sind eine Band..

(We are we, we are beer, we are a band)
WTF????????

The bandmembers we are around chatting to people and I decided to ask for some buttons since there was a stamd outside. In retrospect, I have no clue how I ended up making smalltalk to the guitarist for 20 minutes. I wasn't dressed up or made up or anything. Ed spoke very very good German. He spoke German and I spoke english...quite weird..and I need to speak english more often. My accent is quite bad. Urg. Needs to change. We talked about accents and languge and the band and loads more and he also asked my opinion about their album cover after I told him I was a graphic designer. heeeeeee......

They didn't have buttons but they had stickers... I grabbed two and headed to my ladies. Only they weren't alone anymore. The lead singer Rupert was at their table. Rofl. He was quite nice, too. lol.

We left later and drove to my place where we watched a few vids and listened to the new Kaisers Orchestra Album (omg gig on the 3rd SQueeeee). And cuddles loads....
So good day... YAY.

And the house is still Clean..omg heaven!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need new clothes.
