SV ART: Chance

First of all belated happy bday to

svmadelyn. you're a real pro. An organizer and a teamplayer. I'm always in awe how mucn you do and how you're involved. Happy happy birthday. Also Happy belated bday Papa!!!!

Then Happy Birthday to

lapetite_kiki. You're one of the prime manipists in SV fandom. I adore you're work and you're getting better and better. Plus, you've always got nice and encourgaing things to say.

In any case, the art is for you guys <3

Brushes are from cirratus.org and the textures are my own. I'm so sorry it's a sad piece!

Oh and I've been bad and scarce, but RL is kiiiling me. We almost finished phase two and just need to put music under the video. I suck at vids. Seriously!!! and I've been angsting about my diploma topic. I'm just beginning to realize it starts next week. ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 mayham!!!!!! *scared*

To do list for tonight: laundry, lj comments, gg, hoovering and most definately sleep...so neeed it.
oh and...does anyone have an idea why layers can be different on mac then on a pc browser??

Oh this is wonderful! I love the way you've spliced Lex and Clark together, it almost looks as thought they are two parts of the same whole. The red splash looks very dramatic in contrast to the black and white, and even though it describes the way they are atm, it also speaks of much passion.

I meant the B&W with the red splashes. I tried those sort of colours on my recent wallpaper, but ended up with too soft an effect, not enough contrast.

Hee, and there was me panicking after I'd made it that maybe I'd been influenced by the colouring on some of your icons!

Mine had colour first, then I got rid of it, because I just couldn't make it a nice colour.

Ohh... so pretty. Though it's WAY dark on my work computer, I'll probably see it better on my home monitor. :)

And you know, I still have no idea how to use brushes and textures on photoshop.... It's sad, I know...

That's fast. Am thinking of doing a Dip. in journalism with a distance learning program (cheaper). But then, I'm not too sure how reputable the institution is. Also thinking of doing a postgrad dip for cultural studies, but I just don't have the money to do that. :( So miss uni...

Um, good point. I missed the complete last season.

I was so pissed at the second season finale and my grudge lasted through most of the season... by then it was too late to get back into it. :)

Can you give me a tip on which episodes I definitely have to see? Otherwise I'd just read an episode guide and then start at 3x20 again. I have no clue what happened last year.
