Except now it's up against Survivor and Alias. It's still coming in last. *shakes head* I can't believe they moved *both* shows to Thursdays. I hate TV executives.

They took a big hit in their audience the last time they moved. I think with the decline in ratings PLUS a move, it will smack them even harder. Just because people have started watching Lost doesn't mean they'll decide to tune in to SV because it's on a new night. I get the feeling this will be their worst year of ratings yet.

Why and when did they move the first time?

SV originally aired on Tuesday nights at 9:00. For S3, the WB moved it to the lead-in position on Wednesday nights because it wanted to use the show as an anchor for that night (IIRC, S2 was the height of SV's ratings, so it looked like a solid anchor program going into its third season). It was paired with Angel.

So, this new move will be its second in five seasons.

I wonder if tv peeps have ANY common sense now.
